Okay, the vid is out now.

It is 26mins long, around 560MB.

We cut so many good runs off in the capturing phase that I couldn't make this any shorter. I strongly advice you to watch this few times to catch all the cool combos.

Players are:

Kim Berg
Samu Ahola
Toni Pääkkönen
Juho Marjo
Anssi Sundberg
Aleksi Airinen

Shanghain valot

I want to thank Aleksi for entertaining us on that Saturday night. Those clips in the end really brought back some warm memories.

Thanks for putting this together Tuukka! (why no runs from the circle competition?)

Yeah Tuukka. I think you made a good job. I'm glad you managed to seize something from my shred too, cause I hadn't seen how some of those new tricks looked. And props to the others for playing well!

Oh my god. My love for all things Finnish has just grown exponentially once again. This seals the deal, I have to go to Finland. That entire video was pretty much an overwhelming sensation to every sense in the body, and there is no way I'm missing out on that in the future.

Thanks Tuukka, great video. Perfect amount of everything.

*edit*

Like, christ. Did you even know what you were editting? When you were editting this, did you just take breaks, get a coffee, relax, and then dive into some more? How many trips to the fridge did you have to take just to calm yourself from the stupendous nature of that beastly section? Like, right after that Juho section with the "happy-to-see-you" music and then the intermission to Anssi and all those luscious Whirr's and tight spins, you realize the guy is saying "get ready to die!" but you just can't. You have to see more, because you know half the video is awaiting your viewing pleasure. Stop whining Charmander, this is bigger than you'll ever be.

Thanks for comments.

Anssi, I think I will make another vid from circle, this vid was long enough.

Jay, haha, I like your comments :D Well actually needed to take many breaks. Also added some breaks between player sections, so everyone would get a little break, before trying to follow another player. After all watching 20mins of shred and concentrating on it are hard tasks.

It's hard for any other player to impress me more than Aleksi. I could watch him all day, and that's probably the most footage in one chunk I've ever seen of him.

The whole video was just raw awesome. I really enjoyed the length.
Thanks so much guys.

Fucking epic. Great job - Thanks Tuukka for the awesome video and also to all the players. Really enjoyed it. The run from Anssi right at the end where he hits that move a little sloppy, then hits it first attempt on the other side into a run was very impressive. So were lots of other things - excellent work - inspiring stuff.

After I watched this epic movie, I had strange idea : "Would I become half Finnish If I married finnish girl?"

Love finland! Love finland's footbagers! Love the best band ever - HIM, also from Finland! Ah damn you got Santa too! :D

I am looking for Juho's special in close future! Thanks a lot, peace - gnna watch it again and again!

I loved the video - It is tied for 1st with the older 2007 Dave Clavens NYJ video IMO.

But I have to ask: How much of that footage was sped up? I was watching other players in the background and trying to judge if the speed of the video was accurate. Towards the end the main players seemed slower, but the combos were the same difficulty.

Also, there were some 'the' moves like gyro whirl that I saw, although the player that threw it made up for it with gyro whirling swirl, so it's all good! :D

Great video - Tuukka you're the man :) I think I was most impressed with Juho, but I was always big a fan of his game.

Thank you, thanks also for other comments. From my side I would like to say that I don't think this is a great masterpiece in the field of editing or such, but the players rock! So once again I want to thank especially Aleksi, Anssi, Juho and Toni for being such crazy shredders :)
FlexThis wrote: But I have to ask: How much of that footage was sped up?
Anssi's blurry whirls were obviously sped up. Besides that there was only one string with 105% speed to get it work with music. Otherwise it was normal speed (and slomo's every now and then).
FlexThis wrote: Also, there were some 'the' moves like gyro whirl that I saw
Actually I was planning to cut that out, but just forgot. There were so many clips in the editing table that it was really hard to memorize what was in what clip. Also when I watched the whole thing through I missed that string, maybe turned my head away right then or something. Anyways I always try not to include "the" moves.

It is the same with me. He is just incredible. I wish he would have played a bit more. Anssi, Toni and Aleksi played way more, so I we got more footage of them. Always pleasure to watch Juho playing :)
