Hello Modified Stitchers.
Our good friend Nick Laroche is trying to get some cash together to pay for the printing of his next album, "2009 on s'en Vien" by his duo called Double Calibre, with francophone rapper Glorious. I've heard the first track of it, and it's extra spicy hot. The album's going to be off the hook, but no one can hear it if no one can buy it, and no one can buy it if no one can print it!
Here's where we come in.
I need 3 other stitchers to donate the proceeds of the sale of their next bag (~$30) to [email protected]. Nick needs ~$120 more to have enough money to print the first run, and I'm about to send him my contribution ($30).
I am applying the same mentality to this as I do to donating a quality bag as a prize to a footbag tournament. Tournament directors spend a lot of their time working very hard to support the footbag community and give us something to do that we love. It's the least a stitcher can do as their part in the community effort to improve footbag
Nick has spent a lot of time on his music, and has made it available for free to footbaggers for years. I'm glad to donate a few stitching hours to help make it easier on him to get his music out, and I feel that it's the least I can do as a community member to help Nick continue to make his contribution to music and to footbag.
As a bonus, any stitcher that participates in this little fund drive with me will get their very own shiny new copy of "2009 on s'en Vien" by Double Calibre! I can't wait to blast mine this spring as I'm out shredding in the fine weather! Killer shred tunes by a killer shredder!

Unfortunately I won't be able to get my ideal package on the first printing run, they will just be burnt cds, though the labeling and all that will be nice.
You guys have the option of having one of them mailed directly to you, getting a digital copy, or waiting for the second batch of nicer ones and having those sent out.
I'll update the situation more on my thread in the Arts and Leisure section.
