I have a completed a promotional video for footbag, featuring Dan Ednie. It was filmed impromptu last year in Melbourne but turned out not too bad i think. Its designed to give a visual and spoken description of footbag and why it might be interesting to potential sponsors and investors.
Check it out here, and pleeeaaaase watch it in HD rather than 'normal', cos normal looks extra bad.
EDIT 2: Anyone else find the video playback to be jerky in HD mode? Its annoying me alot right now.
very well done, ian! the voice over works really well, and i like the "plot", e.g. building up to a climax.
two short remarks though:
1. on youtube the video is shown as a letterboxed 16:9 widescreen stretch a 16:9 video - resulting in dan being squished - i WOULD very much commend re-encoding and reuploading. there is just no reason to have it look less professional / bad.
2. while i REALLY liked the introduction and dan's commentary in general, i though the list of positive adjectives towards the end were too much. i think the voice-over is ok, but it is kind of over the top for me that you actually list them on the screen. maybe you have some additional footage you could show in the meantime?
anyhow, really liked it, and i was particularly impressed with the positive way of dealing with the negative connotation of hacky sack. (something one simply avoids often by not mentioning)
ps: the reason it is jerky in HD, is that you didn't wait for it to load - which just takes longer in HD. the stream only plays well when already buffered completely. (it's the same in normal quality.) kinda ruins the point of a stream, but at least you don't clog your hard drive.
pps:for those looking for a download, just use one of these sites that get you the mp4 iphone versions (jsut google it.)

I like it a lot, and the idea of "presenting footbag to non-footbaggers" is really good!
at the beginning, (where he plays with the big red footbag), you sometimes couldn't see the bag because of too much shade!
Maybe you can kind of highlight the red colour of the bag, so you see better the tricks he made!
I know I'm a nerd when it comes to footbags, but what's the small beige or yellow bag you have next to the big red one at the end? who made it? what colour is it?
