Third annual Wine and Cheese shred

Post by Reid »

As every year prior, for the past three years, I will be holding my wine and cheese event. If you are a footbagger and you are coming you will be found housing for the weekend. The only requirement is that you shower.
The event is February 27- march 1. Wine and Cheese is on that saturday. We play footbag the rest of the weekend.

Wine and cheese shred
Date: February 27- March 1
Location: Urbana, Illinois
Cost: Free besides transportation and personal expenditures.

This is the largest footbag event in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. So, don't miss it.

Confirmed 100% list:

Jon, the answers to your questions are yes and no respectively.

Tom, I'm sorry to hear that you will not be able to make it, but we will shred and hang some other time.

I really want to come to this.

If I recall correctly your place, (Reid), is outside of Chicago an hour or so train. Correct?

If I took a train to Chicago, should I get off at Union Station where I usually do? Or is there another stop down the way?

Is anyone from downtown area going that I could catch a ride with? (CIC?)

Their is an amtrak that comes from union station to champaign, but there might be a one trip that you can get from Michigan. Nathan may be coming right now, but also as a possibility you could maybe ride with my brother. He will be coming up friday sometime I believe. The whole trip is 2-3 hours outside chicago. I would really love to have you Mr. Jahner, and I will see with my brother on his details and let you know asap.

I'm coming for sure. There was some doubt, but things have slowed down at work, etc etc, fuck it.

If I take the train, it'll be the 391 Saluki leaving Union Station at 8:15am, arriving at Champaign-Urbana at 10:25am (I hope), Saturday morning. Though if there's a possibility of carpooling that'd be great to. I generally work until 5 on Fridays but I could probably do a half day if I ask now.

Hell yes.

Amtrak tickets tend to get more expensive the closer you get to the departure time, so if we can figure out how we're getting down there sooner rather than later, that'd be just thuper.

Ok, travel seems to be coming together. I've got Friday afternoon off work. Zach - what train station do you usually leave from? If you check here http://www.amtrak.com/servlet/ContentSe ... dules_Page maybe you can find a train that leaves Friday morning.

I purchased my return ticket.

Won't be able to make it to this, but I just wanted to let you know that this sounds amazing. The classiest footbag event ever, for sure.

Indeed, I just got my shred-tuxedoes back from the cleaners. You know your ducks are clean when you can hit them in a nice starched and pressed white shirt.

Hey Reid we gotta get a solid plan on meeting up with your brother.
