Alright, here's what happened.
Going along having a great session. Hit some good stuff. Got some of what I wanted to on camera. Then, after I hit something that I haven't hit before (see vid, you'll know what it is!) I got a little excited and went and rushed a trick. The bad news is that this trick is one that you shouldn't rush, PERIOD!! I end up rolling my ankle yet again! FUCK! Either I was too excited from what I hit, or Tuesday's are just a bad day for me to shred, but this is the second time in 3 weeks that I've rolled this ankle! I don't know if I'll post the video of it. It made me cringe and my ankle to hurt some more.
Good news. Almost like last time, I was able to put about 90% of my body weight onto that foot a couple of min's after it happened. I took a hot bath, stretched it and rotated it left and right. I have it wrapped right now, and it's feeling pretty good. I think I might talk to my dad about taking me to the hospital to have a doc look at it and make sure that these 2 rolls haven't messed anything up. As of right now I'm scared to even know what has happened to this ankle. If something's screwed up with it, and a doc is able to tell what it is and how I can heal it and make it stronger I'll gladly *cries* take the time off of footbag to let it heal.
I'll have the video of the session up fairly soon. I think I will put up the vid of the roll to remind myself to not get over excited and rush things.
Here are the vids;
The goods!

Thanks Kev!
It's been a week and my ankle is doing good. It still gives me twinges every now and then, but that's ok. Hopefully I'll be 100% before Ken gets here this coming Sunday. Right now I think I'm at about 80%. Hopefully with rest and not doing anything to ruin my ankle anymore, I should be, hopefully, aroun 95% or so in a week.
I think I'm going to do some light kicking and stalls on Friday to see how the ankle feels. If it doesn't hurt while doing that, I'll have a couple of light sessions during the week, then when I kick with Ken I might actually be able to shred.
Here's hoping!

I did some light kicking and some stalls yesterday. Ankle felt good. Some slight discomfort while kicking, but that slowly left as my ankle warmed up. Also did alot of kicking today. Ankle felt fine and there was no discomfort at all. I just about bsos'd all the flyer's I know how to do.
With this promising news, Ken gets into town tomorrow. And on Monday we'll have our first session, and I'm planning on actually shredding
Until then.......... keep shredding.

I really should do a write up of the last 2 sessions. I will. Not right now. Right now I'm just using this post a notes page. My next post will include a full write-up.

Well, this week has come and gone. Ken S. was in town for a week and we were able to get 3 sessions in. Monday and Friday we got morning sessions in and on Wednesday everyone else, Mike J., Conrad Rustad and Blake Johnson. Needless to say it was a lot of fun.
I posted a few highlight's above. Here's some that I remember from Friday.
Ken:
Gyro Clipper x14
Spin Clip X7 on flip
GDLO bsos with one Vortex
Vortex bsos with one GDLO
Myself:
Gyro Clip x9
Footed Mobius bsos
Mobius bs
Some decent runs
Friday was a very laid back session for the two of us.

Just had my first session in a week. Felt good. Legs felt weird at first, then warmed up. Ankle felt good throughout most of the session. No double downs and nothing that could irritate my ankle.
Highlight's:
Check my challenge thread: http://modified.in/footbag/viewtopic.php?t=20034
Whirr > Ripwalk bs, after I turned the camera off. Will try again next time I kick.
and

I now know why Ken always does a Duck Clip before doing a Gyro or Spinning trick. It really helps. I hit Duck Clip > Vortex bs, and had bsos footed who know's how many times. I also had Duck Clip > Mobius > Mobius off of my foot! Ahhh! That would've been nice.
That's all. I'll probably have a single session next week. The week following I'm going to have my ankle checked out, just to make sure I did nothing major to it.
Later....

Just had the crappiest session since I rolled my ankle the second time.
It starts with a stitch popping on my half white/half black bag. Then my laptop wouldn't connect to the internet. After trying everything I know to fix it, and it still not working, I decide to have a session anyway.
Highlight's:
Duck Clip > Spin Clip > Gyro Clip > Gyro Clip rpt > run, on vid, but you can't see half of it
Symp Whirl bsos
Midlight's:
Toe Whirl > Pdx Whirl > Step Mirage rpt footed multiple times
2 ok looks at DSC on one side
Spin Clip x 5, really ugly and seemed to be pulled
Matador > Ripwalk bs, couldn't rpt
No success at Flip Sumo
Had Merkon > Toe Ss Muted Drifter > Gyro Mirage off my foot
Tomorrow if I have the time, I'll fix my bag. Then maybe I'll try for a live session on Friday. I just hope my laptop decides it wants to connect to the internet.

Haven't kicked since a week ago yesterday. Haven't really wanted too. I still air shred, but even that has been slacking 'till today. I told myself that I was going to kick, then I talked myself out of it and that went back and fourth for quite awhile. Then when I couldn't get any motivation to do some homework, I decided that I would.
At first everything was ok. My ankle wasn't bothering me, pain wise, but it was shred wise. I'd go for a butterfly and I just wouldn't have any crank. It would hit the sweet spot, and roll right off. I was getting frustrated with it. Then I decided to do some swirls and all of a sudden I had my crank back. It didn't let me down again. Shortly after that, my knee started to hurt. I was like, ok, and went and got one of my braces for it. My knee(s) often do this when I don't kick that often. So it wasn't a big thing for me.
Highlight's;
Mirage > Ss Mirage rpt > Illusion > Ss Illusion rpt > Clip > Near Mirage > Clip > Bubba > Clip > Far Lo > Clip > Far Pickup > Ss Clip > Near Mirage > Clip > Bubba > Clip drop
Gyro Clip x4 and x5
Drifter x7
Gyro Mirage bsos
Osis > Dlo bsos
Spin Pdx Mirage > Toe Drifter rpt
Flip Gyro Dlo, I'm pretty sure this is new
Duck Clip > Vortex bs
Mobius bs
Cleared the dex but missed the osis on hitting Mobius b2b
Symp Whirl > Spin Clip
My whirls really sucked today. Actually, everything really sucked today. I couldn't really set it where I needed to for tricks. I'd hit my shoe going for whirls, or the bag would just roll off on an osis or dyno. I had little to no stamina today. I think my longest run was 10 or a little less, not counting my tiltless warm up run. I couldn't breath at all, even just doing bop I could hardly breath.
I should start playing more than once a week. Tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment, and while I'm there I'm going to get my ankle checked out. Hopefully I didn't do anything bad to it, but the way it is now I can hardly do the clipper stretch
Ankle verdict tomorrow. Stay tuned......

Last Thursday I had a physical, so I thought while I was there I'd have my Doc check out my ankle. At the beginning of it he asked if there was anything else that I'd like to be looked at, and I told him my ankle because I rolled pretty bad about a month ago and it's still bothering me. He gets done doing everything entailed with a physical, and says everything looks fine, and you can go. He didn't even bother to look at my ankle. That pissed me off........I was in a relatively bad mood the rest of that Thursday. Now I'm going to setup another appointment to get my ankle checked out. When will that happen, who knows.
Today I've been relatively bored all day. Watched a bunch of Anime, a couple of movies, played some games and that's about it. I wasn't planning on kicking till tomorrow, and I really didn't want to kick today just because the last two times I've kicked on Tuesdays I've rolled my ankle. Well, in the end I decided to kick anyway. All in all I had no motivation to kick, but I wanted to do something besides sitting on my ass all day.
I went into this session telling myself no double downs, no shuffle and particularly NO SETS! So with all that, I worked spins and gyro.
Highlight's:
Gyro Mirage bs
Vortex bs
Mobius bs
Spin Mirage bs
Gyro Illusion bs
Spin Illusion bs
Spin Duck Clip bs
Zooming Osis bs
Zooming (gyro) Clip bs
Zooming (spin) Clip bs
Gyro Butter bs
Spin Butter bs
Spin Duck Clip > Spin Clip bs
Spin Duck Clip > Gyro Clip bs
Spin Clip > Mobius bs
Gyro Clip > Gyro Illusion, one side, I got a weird pain when I tried the other side...
Gyro Clip > Gyro Mirage bs
Spin Clip > Spin Mirage bs
Spin Duck Mirage bs
Gyro Dlo bs
Gyro Whirl bs
Spin Clip > Swirl bs
Gyro Clip > Rev Swirl bs
Gyro Swirl bs, flip is new, non-symple style
Spin Swirl bs, flip is new
Little Apple bs, flip is new
Footed Spin Clip > Vortex multiple times
This was alot of fun, though I didn't really do any linking. I did some, but not a while bunch. After trying to link Gyro Clip > Gyro Illusion and getting a weird pain in my upper right leg, I decided that I wouldn't push very many links after that. I did hit most of my gyro tricks both sides, and a few of them got linked to another gyro/spin trick.
Some of these took me awhile. Especially Spin/Gyro Swirl on flip. Flip Gyro Swirl I'm especially stoked about. Don't get me wrong, I'm stoked about both but there's just something about Gyro Swirl that's so stylee compared to the other.
I guess I'll let my thigh/hip on my right leg rest for awhile before kicking again. Or maybe it'll just be for tonight. Tonight was fun. I don't know if I'm going to abandon sets just yet, but I'm really liking doing spins, gyro and ducking stuff. I won't get rid of them just yet
That's enough rambling. Later.....

Thanks Ken. If I remember right, the first Spin Duck Clip > Mobius was first try. The other side took me awhile, same with Vortex at the end of that combo.
Had a session today. Felt ok. Started with Gyro Clips and they were off. My strong spin was good as usual, but my weaker side really showed up today. I don't know why, but I thought I got over it being weak with my last couple of sessions.
So besides for that being off, I worked on some other stuff. Most of it's on tape, but I haven't gotten it on my computer yet.
Ummm........Highlight's:
Gyro Diving Clip, bs I think.
Gyro Weaving Clip one side
Toe Symp Whirl bsos, flip is new. Hit it a couple of times earlier in the session, but kept missing strong.
Gyro Whirl > Mobius footed
Torque > Drifter > Whirl footed, starting on bs
Pixie Ss Clip > Gyro Mirage > Atom > Pixie Ss drop...I'm working on it Kev!
Gyro Mirage > Tapdown bs
Tried hitting Blubberman > Rubberman. Could only get up to 4 tricks of Blubber. I guess I should start working on my sets again....
Far Symp Swirl > Spin Clip bs
Other than that, there were a lot of drops in between everything. I'll probably kick again on Wednesday.
Laters.....

Had a session tonight. Just finished it. A little over an hour. Felt good considering it was the first time playing in 2 weeks!
My highlight's will be on video. So stay tuned.
Ok, so I can put one or two highlights up:
Footed flip Scorpion's Tail, twice
Had a decent, so-so look at Genesis
I got winded, was expected, but the weird thing was that I got a little light headed and slightly dizzy throughout the session. And that wasn't even when I was doing spinning tricks. Ohh well. I really should start kicking twice a week again. It helps me keep in shape, and keeps my girlish figure. Well........maybe not the figure but it does help keep me fit and toned. Hell, look at Zac Miley in the vids and one shots he has put out lately. I use to be like that!
I have a couple of things that I want to do with my game right now. I want to continue working on my gyro/spinning game, but I also want to start re-developing my sets. Especially flip stepping. The thing with this is that I'm going to either have to get my flip clip stronger or re due my form. I'm not getting the set height that I use to and it's kind of annoying me. Especially when I try to do drills like Rubberman and Blubberman. It'll take time seeing as I've been kicking and using this clipper form for 4 years now!
Enough of me rambling.
Expect the either tonight or tomorrow. I think I might go rest for a little bit.

Just got done with my second session this week! That's right, I'm trying to get back into a routine again, workout 3x a week and kick 2x a week!
It was an ok session. 30 min's, nothing really productive. Everything felt off. I did have some ok runs, maybe 8 or 9 contacts. I might've had one that was over 10. That's ok compared to my last session. My last session rocked! I was actually able to hit things! I do have on highlight from today though. Ripwalk x 18 or 19? I lost count around 10. I guess I should check the camera and see how many I really did hit. Maybe later. Another highlight that I just remembered is Spin Clip > Duck Clip rpt x 8.
Next week is when I'm going to force myself back into the routine that I mentioned above. I think it was right around the beginning of my last class was when I stopped working out and kicking, That sounds about right, that would've been around the 2nd week after Ken's departure.
I did notice some things today. My flip stepping SUCKS! My flip clipper SUCKS! Maybe it's just because I haven't kicked in awhile, but it's really become a hassle. I use to be able to step easily out of infinity, but now it seems as if my clipper is already doing the setting before the bags even on my foot. Oy!
I really need to just start kicking again. It'll all come back, and I'll be back to my usual freestyle self.
Reminder: FIX YOUR HALF & HALF BAG!!! Hopefully that will remind me to get off my ass and fix it

I didn't run out of fingers, I ran out of breath and started focusing on breathing.
I know that feeling as well Zach. I don't know if I did scare her, or if she just wanted to get out of my way.
Had 3 sessions today. The first was about 40 min's. The second was about 30 min's, and the last one was about 15 min's. Over all they were ok. My stamina is still gone, but it's slowly coming around.
High/mid/low - light's:
Pixie Whirl > Ripwalk
Pixie Whirl bs
Blurry Lo > Pixie Whirl > Ripwalk > Run
Fairy Ss Whirl > Ripwalk
Pixie Muted Ss Dyno
Fairy Muted Ss Dyno
Atom bsos
Barfly bs, worked on strong. Finally started attacking the dex's again
Toe Whirl > Blur rpt
Rev Swirl > Pdx Whirl, tried to rpt
Lot's of Ducking Clippers
Inspinning Clip starting from a dead clipper, needs more work
Gyro Osis bsos, both sets were shoulder high
I think that's all. I had fun, which is unusual lately. I really need to get my ankle checked out. I think once I find out if anything is wrong with it and what I need to do to let it heal, I might be able to start pushing my game again. Also, maybe if I get off my ass and fix my bag I can start working my spinning/gyro game more. Using a smaller bag to work spinning/gyro just sucks.
Ok, I'm done with that little ramble. Time to go relax and rest the ankle.

So I finally got off my ass and fixed my half & half bag today. Came out just like new. I even had a 30 min session to welcome it back into the game. Nothing too big happened. But that's alright.
Mid-light's;
Spin Clip > Spin Butter > Spin Osis bs
Spin Butter > Spin Osis > Spin Clip > Spin Butter > Drop
Whirl > Symp Whirl bs, felt good and controlled, didn't take to much effort with my "weak" ankle.
Gyro Clip x5 twice
That's really about it. It felt good to be kicking a Munster bag again. I love the size that I'm able to make now, and like Ken S. said about his Munster bag, they're great for spinning and gyro stuff.
later...
Quick EDIT* Jani bs, footed bsos! *END EDIT

Today I was working on my groups website, and I decided that I would make a website for myself. So needless to say, I stopped working on my groups website to work on one for me. Boy am I selfish or what. Anyways. Check it out and tell me what you think about it: My site
So I just had a couple of sessions. I've been kicking on and off for the past 2 - 2 1/2 hours. So it's been fun today.
Highlight's:
Lot's of Ducking and Diving throughout the session
Dyno x4, this really disappointed me
Torque bs
Mobius bs
Duck Clip > Spin Clip rpt, lots of times throughout the session
Food
Flip Toe Symp Whirl, took awhile to hit again
Flurry bs, flip surprised me, I was never able to get a decent set out of strong to try anything, wanted paradon
10 contact unique run. Started on Fairy Ss Whirl
Fairy Whirl, don't know if this is new but it sure felt like it
Gyro Clip x8
Gyro Clip > Spin Clip rpt > Duck Clip > Spin Clip rpt
Footed Dive Clip > Gyro Clip rpt
That's all. I really didn't get as winded as I have been the last couple of times I have kicked. So that's a good thing. Might be kicking on Friday with Mike. Hopefully we can. Should be fun!
