Will D's Springtime Jam THIS WEEKEND ALL INFO POSTED

Post by mc »

I'll be in the Capital region to do a recording session for a radio show on Saturday, 3/21. I'm going to try and get a gig in the same area for the 20th. I'll be staying with Will Digges. We will play footbag. We're also going to party it down.

Will has room for around 5 people to crash at his place.

Who wants in on it with us?

Matt

**UPDATE****

Shred Spots/Times

Outdoor spot:

Washington Park in Albany.

There are tons of tennis courts and shaded area's, benches, a bridge over a little lake thing, which makes for a great filming spot. There are stores in all directions that can sell you anything you might need.

-It's right next to Madison ave, if you need a guide, I'll be your eyes and ears.

Indoor spot:

Indoor spot is still to be decided, but it will most likely be at Hudson Valley Community College which is in Troy, NY. We could play in the Gymnasium complex, or a gazebo outside or any area that we find to take over.

If you have any questions,
My Cell phone is: 518-817-1959

My address is:

11 Putnam St.
Albany, NY 12202
first floor, (door on the left)

Ok, so for all of those who need a Hotel here is a close and cheap place to stay.

Regency Inn & Suites‎

416 Southern Blvd
Albany, NY 12209
(518) 462-6555

All rooms will be 54.00$ a night and after taxes thats 69.00$ a night.

I think that everyone who needs to get in a hotel should just get 1 room and have everyone crash in it, that way it will be super cheap. That makes it 120.00$ for the weekend, split amongst however many you can fit in there. The hotel is 1.8 miles from my house which is very convenient.

Staying at my house so far:
Matt Cross
Jay Boychuck
Chris Dean + 1
Sara and Jade
Drew
Tommy + 1 bro + 2 friends

At this point I'm pretty much crashed out at my place: but if you really cant get a room, your very welcome to just stay here and tough it out. 5 of the people on the list above will have a couch, lazy boy chair, mattress, or loveseat. The rest will need to grab some floor space or a yoga mat.

Things you might need/want:
Towels
pillows/blankets
shoes
footbag's
game faces
bee- sauce

So that is my uber write up, I can't wait to have you all here to shred and have a good time. If you have any questions, just Call or Text or Private Message me.

Peace everyone! 8)

Hey Josh C. I actually live in Albany now so we will be playing here in albany. East Greenbush is really close to me haha, I had no idea there were other baggers besides me and matt K so close.

You should definitely make it out, heck we can play before then, give me a call sometime!

I don't see why I wouldn't try to make this. Its only a two hour drive for me. Did you know that Brian McKenzie lives in Albany? You should totally be trying to get him to kick with you. He just might be in to it, I think the only reason he stopped is because he had no one to kick with.

So far we got:
----------------
Matt Cross
Matt Kemmer
Josh C.
me
Drew

Sounds like a badass Jam already! Everyone should come, if you don't want to crash on the floor there are plenty of hotels around here that rarely ever get booked up.

I would be able to leave at 6:00 pm, Friday, meaning I could be in Albany by Midnight.

If school workload and midterms don't conflict, I'll be there.

So far I think I have 3 or 4 people staying here. We should be able to fit you all, it might be a little cramped but we could manage. If you'd be more comfortable at a motel there are a few close ones that shouldn't be too pricey.

I think a schedule might be sort of nice.
I know this is just like a get together but a small plan could help out a lot.

Ok, I'll talk to Mr. Cross and we will come up with a basic guideline once I figure out where we will be playing for sure.
