I decided to start a footbag blog. My name is Pawel (Paul in english). I'm from Garfield, NJ. I'm 18 years old and have been kicking footbags(including Hacky Sacks by Wham-O) on and off since I was 14 or so. Recently, about 2 weeks ago, I decided to come back to the sport. I bought my first pair of mesh lavers and a brand new Mr. Sandbag in case my first one, that I had for 3 years, would rip.

February 23, 2009 - My first true outside shred with lavers and the Mr. Sandbag. Called up a long time friend who used to kick with me back when we were in middle school. After a few minutes of brainstorming, we decided our place to shred will be the train station parking lot in our town. It was only 33 F degrees and very windy. So windy that it was swerving the sandbag in between kicks. But I managed to keep kicking it under control. Did plenty of strings which included the basics like Butterflies, Butterfly Kicks, Clipper Stalls, Toe Stalls, Inside Stalls, Mirages, Legovers, and ATW's. I can do these nearly every time on my strong side. But I can only hit a few tricks on both sides. Had 2 shred sessions. First was during daylight, second time was later in the evening, when we came back to shred again, this time to the parking lot lights. Had to park the car on a handicapped space because it was near a building which we thought would cover a bit of the wind. Opened the trunk to hear some of the techno from the car stereo and shredded near the car. Overall good day but brutally cold. Had to shred in jeans, winter coat, and a beanie hat. But I'm really starting to like the lavers since they're beginning to break in and are extremely light. 'Till next time!
