That song is sick. Who is it? The mofo was doing mad arpeggios in both hands.

Nice job hitting my challenge. I knew you could do it. It's such a weird combo. How about swirl>rev. swirl>swirl bsos

That's a toughy, especially with my non-existent flip rev swirl. will give it a shot though.

The song is by Yann Tiersen, the guy that did the Amelie soundtrack. This is from another soundtrack he did to a movie called Good Bye Lenin!. He has a bunch of good non-soundtrack albums as well.

Played footbag today. It was one of those sessions where other than one or two strings, you can't do any of your basics. The frustration, exhaustion, and anger are so intense that you are on the verge of breaking down into tears. Most of the footage was omitted due to intense emotions that no one needs to see. Here's a one-shot challenge, a trick I've only hit one other time, and a link.

Shit sessions suck. Although, I've noticed that most of the time it's not as bad as it seems in retrospect. That's just me though.

The one shot bopper was sweet. The link was pretty dank as well.

What a good night. I'm house-sitting this awesome house. They said I could help myself to anything in the fridge. There was salmon marinating in dankness that I added ground ginger and thyme to sooo.....

I'm eating the best salmon of my life right now and watching videos of the alesis micron.

Gonna solo jam afterward. Got a 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch adapter to run fruity loops 7 into the korg emx-1. Can't wait til I reach my financial goal and buy a computer that can record in and all sorts of instruments to mess around with. sp-303 or 404, korg esx-1, alesis micron? a spectralis would be sweet, but that runs 1.5 grand.

maybe even some footbag shoes someday

Made a remix of NIN's 'The Frail'. Recorded it live on a friend's computer so only had one shot. No samples were used. It was all built from scratch on my Korg EMX-1.

Same with an ambient song that I made after owning it for 3 or 4 days.

New footblog vid. New flipside trick and a new 6add at the end that was a complete fluke. The vid temporarily freezes for some reason during the bsos whirlygig string. It's just during some bops though.

Ha! The thing in the back is a painted half-mannequin that I found while dumpster diving.

The basement is old school. Nothing like fake wood walls

Had a session with the MFA today. Ben Little is back in town. Haven't kicked with him in 2.5 years because he was doing the Peace Corps in Tanzania. It's good to have him back. Challenged Jere to smog>smoke and he hit it. Challenged Ben to atomic ss pinch>ss dada curve which he footed a few times. We call pinch release dada curve the ninja slipper. Played for 20 minutes before they showed up for the session. I mostly worked on trying to clean up my flip double overs and it's slowly coming along.

hilights:
-string w/ bsos smog and bsos pigbeater
-barflyx5 (all clean :) )
-ps whirl>spinning eggbeater (footed the bsos)
-blurriestx3 (first time stepping out of flip blurriest)
-bap drill 12 contacts
-paradon swirl>string first try
-high plains drifter>spinning whirl>string challenged by Jere
-(phoenix>blur>rpt)>bap drill
-footed whirling infinity>ripcurl a few times challenged by Jere
-footed sunilwalker>pdx torque>sunilwalker bs before people started showing up
