This project was a major milestone in the growth of footbag, it's unfortunate that it's run into some bad luck. I hope things can work themselves out and that eventually we will have a *choice* between multiple available footbag shoes.

I've already noted in our records what players need replacements/new pairs from who has posted on this thread, but just to be sure please contact us via email. It's very difficult to keep everyone straight. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
I am in desperate need of shoes as I am stepping on the ground now in my Lavers.
I am contemplating the 3.1 or another pair of Lavers at this point. The Lavers are only $65 and I have worn these for over 12 years and understand their limitations.
I am hesitant to purchase the Quantums because they are $80 and from review appear to be under sized by an enitre size (12s are actually 11s). I am not as concerned about the ankle crank or glue issues of the 3s, but have not heard anything about the 3.1s.
the 3.1's are essentially the same shoe as the 3s the .1 is just to separate them from the bad batch of q3s that were originally shipped to Daryl, so they are the same in every aspect except the "3.1"s are how the 3s were supposed to perform, better quality and construction but same model shoe, ff just changed the name
at least thats my understanding from the ff website

Tom has is exactly right. We've completely stopped selling the QM03's for now - there's just no solid way to tell if they've really been glued correctly or not. At some point they will probably be listed at a massive reduction or sold to clubs and/or given as sponsorship. Thus far we haven't had any issues with the 03.1s.
I've most recently fallen victim to the detaching sole problem. I guess it was a bad batch after all. The shoe performed very well only up until recently. They are un-usable now, but from what i hear the problem has been fixed with the new shipment. So anyways, i still love quantums, and this is the first time out of three pairs I've ever had an big problems, so I wouldn't ever really be worried about purchasing a pair again.

Shoe goo does miracles. Mine were pretty bad but they're fixed now and they're pretty sturdy. You can buy it at wal mart for cheap. Check the shoe area.

So, I received my new pairs of Quantum "3.1"s sometime in the middle of January, and played with my white pair until last Sunday. Right near the clipper spot, it started coming detatched on my left shoe. I dismissed it as a "it's been long enough, it could have just been a one-of situation".
So, then 4 sessions later with my pink Quantums, about 3 inches of the clipper spot just started to fall off.
So, if I were to say anything about the Quantum 3.1's, the making of the shoe definety looks more professional, judging by the stitch placements inside the sole, and not having random orange thread on white shoes. However, it looks like they are still too lightweight to handle shred for any amount of time.
