The video was over 5 minutes long, and yet I feel like he only repeated a handful of tricks. For real, it felt like 95% of the vid was unique tricks. Amazing.

Anyway, this video makes me very happy. I love how unpredictable each run is. Sweetness.

One thing I love is how he uses ducking clippers instead of BOPing, and whenever he does an Osis without another component infront of it, it becomes a zoom. No filler, all killer!!!

If I could just magically have someone's game, it would be Scott's. That's freestyle in my opinion, it just looks so fun. This is the type of footage that I show to non-footbag junkies and they're like "holy shit look how good that guy is". (edit: what I mean is, it's easy for footbaggers and non-footbaggers to both see how great his game is, and I think that's pretty rare)

There have been many influences in my shred. Some big ones are:

1. Richard Abshire's advice from when I didnt even know what bops were unitil now.

2. Seeing video of Vasek hitting Montage>whirlwind>Montage rake
and realizing the fluid technique of a great master.

3. Watching video's of Lon Smith and appreciating his entire game and his ability to school almost every variation of one trick in a single run. I starting torques and ducks because of his inspiration.

4. The first time I hit 20 ripwalks was thanks to David Clavins telling me to stay on my toes.

5. Swirls , ripsteins , the way I tie my laces thanks to Jonathan Scheider.

And now

Thanks Flash , You have made me rethink my entire trick selection, inspired me to find more creative links, and also to make sure that every second feels fun. I hope your having as much fun as it looks like you are.
