Rekindling hope for a footbag magazine: Cheap production

Post by C-Fan »

I know there has been talk of reviving a footbag magazine for quite some time. When I read this article, I immediately thought of footbag. Has anybody heard of these new services? If they did indeed prove cheap, I think it could be fun to have a mag that comes out twice a year.

I occasionally write for a local museum magazine that is published 4 times a year on a budget of about $2000 - obviously nobody gets paid for their content, and the editor is a graphic designer, but it's a fairly high quality production. Not really the services you're talking about, but I think with some committed people it would definitely be possible to produce a footbag magazine without it costing a significant amount.

Alright! I wanted one of these really bad for a while. I entertained my own fantasies about starting one (I think I even posted a proposal on modified), but I just lacked the drive to plow trough all the obstacles. Hopefully you will be stronger! Good luck!

...can't actually offer much help at this point though. Sorry.
