I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but:

1. Is the venue outdoors?
2. What freestyle events are being offered?
3. Will the prize money be distributed evenly between net and freestyle?
4. Is this an IFPA sanctioned event?
5. How long does it take to get from the airport to the event site?
6. What is the crash space situation like?

This is of course, very very tentative and uninformed, but I second Ken's questions ;)

1) Don't know, will check, but I don't think so.
2) That will probably be up to me and Mike. Circle was great in Austin last fall. We'll do that and sick 1 / big 3. Trying to get routines together has never worked. We will probably do Iron Man as well, but that is only 1/3 freestyle.
3) Not sure. But I assume there will be separate money pools. If you compete in both, your contribution would be divided.
4) I will apply for sanctioning
5) 31 minutes.
6) Good question. Although if I told Mike Stokely that Ken Somolinos needed a place to crash, I think he could figure something out.

Also, the word is we got sponsorship from Flying Clipper.

8O tim does a swell job, along with his traveling footbag museum/store - our surrounding states should consider coming to this one, it will be epic! - umm and i feel i should mention, this park has an outrageous # of 10's jogging :) i can see them now.....

I will do my best to make it to this comp. I hope I go , and I hope Ken goes.
Playing in a circle with him would be great, even considering I might get my ass schooled. Fun times..... 8)

yo Mark, I owe you a phone call, sorry.

Since 5/10 is Mother's day we are now moving this to the following weekend 5/16-17. Hope that doesn't screw up anybody's travel plans.

Cool! Glad you can make it :) Any chance you can drag Rob along with ya?

BTW, for Jay, Windsen et al, I've FINALLY got the video from the Brenham jam coming along. I got a new computer a little while ago, but there were issues with the firewire connection that I couldn't fix until yesterday. So I captured the footage last night, and I'm about 90% of the way through the editing, so... expect a video by the end of the week!

Actually, Rob and I will probably be taking his car .

What are the freestyle events, I heard that routines might be in , or just circle and sick tricks? 8)

Rob just cancelled due to a high school reunion. I still am going to try and make it , even if i have to drive by myself. We were going to split the cost and now Im not sure if i will be able to swing it. Does any one have crash space available for me for just one night , either friday or saturday. That would significantly cut down on cost.

Let me talk to the Houston guys. We should be able to find something for you both nights... hang on.

Good news, gang! The reunion is in fact the weekend before. I'm totally there. If there's crash space for me too, then hell yea. However, now that it's both of us again, Mark and I could maybe split a hotel if we need to.

Does any have a list of players that might go?

If so, add Rob and I to it, if not , let's start an attendance list. 8)

Hmmm, it may end up only being Tina and I from Austin. Houston crew should be probably 12-18 between freestyle and net.

Windsen can't make it, and I don't think Cody can either. I'm supposed to talk to Mike tonight about crash space.

Wait, when is this thing? Facebook's telling me it's this coming weekend. If that's the case, then boo, I can't make it.
