New Q2's arrived today. It's pretty funny, because they actually have a shoe-like form unlike my current Q2's. This means I can play more footbag without the bag getting stuck in the hole of my insides.
Messed around on an Akai MPC1000 last night. Me and my buddy are going to trade machines for a week or so. can't wait.
Freestyle jam is coming. Eric Winsor decided to come. How random. I thought he disappeared.

That is random, especially for a tourney in Montana.
Hey Kevin, you're always talking about akai samplers and whatnot, and it got me wondering if you listen to or like the Japanese band Hifana. They use stuff like that, and they're awesome. They're my favorite Japanese band.

Kevin, what's up?
I seen you called that one day, but I was probably doing something illegal, so I forgot to call you back.
Anywho, when is this jam? I might have to come spectate or something. I'll be on my way to Oregon in the next couple of weeks for work\. I'm supposed to find out where tomorrow.

One week left before I go back to work. Gonna spend it in Eugene.
Hopes are high for the Montana Freestyle Jam. That is, I hope I can still make it. Zeb, Zack and them are going through Eastern Idaho. If I'm going to hitch a ride out of McCall, I will have to do so with Daryl and crew. Yesterday Jim scheduled some shit that's over at 3:30 PM the day before the jam. We probably won't make it in until late, but we'll still make it.
Kicked with Jim and Zack yesterday. Jim got close to nemiosis. I hit the same ol' same. An irigation pipe flooded next door.

Yeah Riley!!
I forgot how weird it is to get used to new shoes. I laced them up for the first time and dropped into clipper swirl bs, vortex bs, flip pdx blender, janiwalker bs, and switchover bs. Couldn't hit infinity>infinity. Then took them off simultaneously feeling stoked and frustrated.
Woke up this morning and put them on for 5 minutes. Tried infinity>infinity over and over and couldn't do it, but hit spinning swirl bs. I feel like a european n00b. lol

on the shoes.. yeah, my shoes are totally shot.. and I have a new pair all modded and nerdy white just waiting for me. But about 5 weeks ago when I really should have switched to those shoes, my first session was such a disaster that I just couldn't bear to do it that close to my only event of the year (boston jam). So I've been babying my old shoes big time. We're thisssss close to needing duct tape and shoe goo.
wow, t m i right? sorry
anyhow, the reason I really wanted to post is that i wanted to guilt trip you into posting another vid in here sometime soon.
happy friday

I had my first real session in the new shoes. It's also the third time or so I've played in 5 weeks. Needless to say, my form has gone out the window. I'm uploading the vid now but won't be able to post it til it's done processing and i'm around a computer with internet. So I guess you can keep checking backRieferman wrote: anyhow, the reason I really wanted to post is that i wanted to guilt trip you into posting another vid in here sometime soon.

-lots of long runs. Yay, it's been awhile since I've been able to do some
-blurrier bsos
-blurriest bsos
-toe flurry
-frankenstein bs. Don't know how, it was my first successful flip phasing set ever.
-had a good look at nemesis bsos

Can't wait to hang out flav!
the music is by Bonobo. Can't remember off the top of my head what track. I choose songs by laying on the video, seeing how long it is, and then sorting itunes by song length.
Finally found a torrent for Loess' first album

it only took me 2 years

Ha! If you want to ruin your display you have it.
It's gonna be awhile longer. I just discovered PowerISO for extracting files from .iso images, and a working username and serial for it. I now have Reason4.0 and found a badass keygen made specifically for every version of reason. So i'm probably going to abandon Fruity Loops and learn a new program from scratch. I'm hoping that the EMX-1 can be used as a midi trigger.
and I also downloaded one of my favorite videogames of all time...Fallout2! which came out in 1998. so i'll be doing a lot of that. Thank you PowerISO.

and oh yeah, It would be Arnie Shankman's 18th birthday today. He always talked of going to Canada on his 18th. We miss u Arnie.

Reason sucks. I got it to record. whoops
had an MFA session today. we presented in front of the ASUM (university of montana's student senate). They already gave us money for the jam but wanted a presentation. Jere juggled, I kicked freestyle, and evan did the juggle footbag combo. They gave us more funding than any other student group this year
Kicked a little before the session in my bedroom. My niece watched for the first time. hit toe flurry>paradon>blurriest>string. also hit flip bullwhip for the first time. then played with the footbag alliance. Was in a big tricks mood.
hilights:
-caught 2 passes on heel delay
-lots of dada curves with the first dex reversed
-bsos pixie opp blender
-whirlygig>string with bsos spinning whirl, step ss whirl>ps whirl>mullet>more tricks
-barfly>flurry>paradon>barfly>ddd>barfly
-blurriest>high plains drifter
-gyro butter swirl
-beta bedwetter
-spanishfly>ripwalk>string
-footed blurry flurry a few times
edit: and hey James, can I steal back those planet footbag shorts along with the lavers at the freestyle jam?

Kevin!
So I was digging around in my things today and found an old, dusty pair of Lavers and a footbag...coincidence? I think not. It must be a sign to come out of retirement!
Anywho, I finally got on as a survey pack operator here and found out that the recording crew that's coming here is Conquest, a company I used to work for a couple years ago and I worked with their crew manager with Tesla last year. I just got done talking to him and I'm hired on when they get here. Yay! I don't have to go to Oregon.
To sum it up, I should be able to make the Jam. When is it again?
