Thank you David for putting this out.

Bevier's creativity blows my mind every time I see his game. I couldn't enjoy watching anyone else's shred more. His trick and link selection is very interesting. Thank you, thank you Scott for being such a great player!!

Pray for the fish!! I still think your routines are some of the most natural and varied I've seen, and your performance last year is proof of that. You're always pushing for that smooth, variant style that most freestylers shoot for but can't commit to. Fairy spinning, multi-contact moves, spontaneous rakes, and butter swirls are second hand for you. Don't stop GordScotBev, rock out when others are scared to.

If you asked me in the late 90's (pre Vasek era) to describe the most impressive footbag style realistically possible, I think I would have described something similar to what is displayed in this video.

I have heard various upper level players describe how they prefer longer strings of mid-range difficulty level tricks, done with mastery and fluidity. I imagine that what they are describing is similar to this.

They way each component seems to be drilled reminds me of the way that an artist would master a medium or a musician an instrument. It's as though Bevier has trained in the academy and can now go on to make abstract art rather than practice renderings from nature. I can't think of any footbag player that has been able to string with such personality. Creative and smart. Inventive both in moves and (especially) implementation.

SCF unanimously feels spoiled by the quality of shred coming out of the rest of our state.

EDIT: I also want to add that Bevier is my favorite example of a routine performer/competitor. No camp. Tasteful cues. Unparalleled creativity in utilizing content and reinforcing with trick selections. I like footbag because It's like living abstract art. And some of his strings are consistently my favorite improvisations to watch.

This video is pretty cool, Flash continues playing a very high level and even better than before. He really enjoys the shred and is contagious... nobody knows whats on his mind after every single trick, heÂ´s always ready to surprise us.
I had the luck to know Flash in Colombia almost 4 years before and He was a big motivation for all Colombian Players.
Keep on shred forever Bevier.
