Post by duttonwebb »

Hey I'm super new here. I only started footbagging on april 21st.
here is me a week later: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHZlSpsjbrs (mind you, the music is silly).
I've played soccer for a long time so the concept isnt too difficult for me, I'm just practicing like crazy. I use a mr. sandbag
I also don't mind if people post on my blog :]

Yo!

Good luck on getting good at footbag!

I can advise you on stretching after and a little bit before.Stretch everytime. It prevents injury, helps relax muscles, just good for your healh overall and helps you progres!

About working both sides you probably know :)

Got to go session in Austin today with Ben and Aaron. Had a great time! learned some new stuff and totally wore myself out! I started doing around the worlds pretty comfortably, got leg overs alright, working on the mirage. Making progress.

Got some mesh lavers today! paid 60$, but whatever. I got home and modded them. I did a pretty good job it was easier than alot of people make it out to be. I modded the outer mesh and left the inside. It's grippier than I thought it would be, but I think that its just left over glue. I was able to do some better strings already. I got a double legover and was able to string them with left and right atw and legovers. Gettin close to my clipper.
Gah I'm so noob. Whatever, its a big step for me! :)

Today I sessioned in austin with the club. Got to see real barefoot shredding by cody. It was pretty rediculous. I'm not really taking to the the rod lavers. Its hard to get used to wearing the shoes alot. I kick mostly wearing Toms, its kinda like barefoot except you have more flat surface area...im sure I'll start uing laversm more eventually.
