Footbag Fillers??

What are your preferred footbag fillers?? i am just starting freestyle footbag and am interested in stitching my own footbags in the near future. if ya'll could tell me what the fillers are that you like and where you get them.

for starters, do not use blank lead. platted lead would be fine, but in the end filler is everyones own booze. just experiment with everything you find.

steel shot, lead shot (platted), stones... and some way or the other youÂ´ll find something that you like.
also look inside others bags, when you buy them

I'm still skeptical about buying lead, plated or otherwise. I've found a really good size shot and deal for chilled lead and "magnum" lead on some online shot, but the coating they use for antimony (I think that's the chemical used on the shot) is highly toxic from what I read.

For chilled lead the coating is about 2-4% and for magnum it's about 6-7%. And because the shot size is always approximate, the levels of toxicity are approximate as well. I'm just throwing this out from what I remembered in my research.

Really, though, I don't care so much for toxicity but how much the lead shot would rub and disintegrate off of its shot form. I don't mind the toxicity, but the lesser the better has always been the best approach for myself and my customers. That's why I'm a little fishy on taking lead shot straight out of bullets and whatever. Can someone contribute on their lead buying experiences? Matt Cross? Drew Krause? Julien Cote?
