I'll be in Brisbane for about a week from the 23rd of June, does anyone want to meet up for a kick? (I'll be staying near southbank, southbank kick?)

Had a great kick with Caroline yesterday, she is still really good at mirages and outside stalls, great to see that she is getting back into footbag again. Also caught up with Gareth later and we all went out to a stand up comedy event, it was really good, a great night out.

There will be a kick at Southbank at the Piazza at 7pm tonight(monday) and also a kick on wednesday arvo (mabye the piazza again?), so come along if you can :D

I've been reading through old forum posts and just browsing the forums in general and becoming very nostaligic.

I think I might actually get back into footbag..I've missed it quite a lot.

I sent Gareth a text message last week asking him if he'd be interested in a catch up shred for old times but he gladly declined saying that he doesn't think he'd physically be up to it; which is really sad.
I hate shredding solo. The atmosphere of a circle is just so different to playing alone.

Anyways, I started up a 12 week gym program last monday. Six days a week gym (3 days weights, 3 days cardio), a protein diet (no shakes at the moment) and one day off a week in which you can gauge on any such foods you like and no exercise is necessary. This gym program will hopefully change my living patters which have changed so dramatically since finishing school and starting full time work. I've become quite the sluggard. Eating what I like, sleeping when I like, generally pwning my health and fitness. So I'm looking to get ripped and bust off my shirt in public while shredding..lol jks.

If anyone actually reads this, post a reply and check back regularly so I'll be more motivated to blog!

Mate very happy to hear you are thinking of getting back into Footbag. Complimenting your new gym regime with a healthy dose of shred will be good for you i reckon!
I hope you stick with it despite playing solo :)
You should come down south around June, Daniel is going to have a jam in Canberra for Queens bday weekend or somewhere around there.

Let us know how the comeback goes!

Canberra Jam will be going ahead, on that Queens Birthday long weekend. Will probably be pretty low key, but should be a lot of fun.

Well, I just typed up a huge blog but internet explorer crashed and I lost it. The AVG has expired on the work computer so it got pwned by stacks of spyware while I had the weekend off.

Anyways, I was just blabbing on about my weekend which was pretty sweet. Went to this all-you-can-eat pizza, ribs and pasta joint. Mean as feed for only $25. Then hit up timezone and did this cool punching game..totally owned the high score on it haha. Saw some asians owning up the street fighter 4 system. Was pretty keen to get on and have a go but I play on xbox360 and have very little experience with an arcade layout. For this reason, I bought a proper arcade stick, tournament edtion one (only 3000 made). It set me back $360 (including p&h from syndey) but I don't mind. It's made with Sanwa Denshi parts, the same used in the proper arcade systems, so I know it'll last a long time. Also, it works through USB on pc and can be modded to work on ps3 so I'm set for tekken 6 and all the old street fighter games :D

No news for footbag, however, on the topic of exercise, today is the beginning of the 3rd week of my gym plan. I've not noticed too much change in my body yet, maybe a little growth in my chest, but I've definitely noticed an increase in cardiovascular fitness from working the cross trainer 4 times a week. Tonight is upper-body weights training and I'm really looking forward to it.

Anyway, back to work.
Hopefully back one day.

1. Don't use internet explorer. Get Google Chrome, or at the very least firefox.

2. Don't download so much pornography and you won't get spyware on your computer.

Can't d/l porn at work lol
Also, boss is pretty anal about what happens on the computers so I'll have to double check before I use firefox (which I use on all my home pc's)

GOOD NEWS. ARCADE STICK CAME
