Oh dear, what a conundrum...

Saturday - out, no one wants to play inside
Sunday - Joel is out, Mike can play early
Monday - Joel can play until super early, and Mike can play until semi early... that puts the beaches out for Monday (they too far)

SOOO - I can do any of those times... what do you guys think? Sunday morning?

That works for me, Camille.

Joel- that means I'll have to meet you next time.

I could play either downtown, or at the beaches. Both spots are close enough to my following destination. Oh! Can we not meet at the harbourfront and ride our boards to the beaches?

Gah, that's a long ride. My plantar fasciitis gets suuuuuper painful when I ride for 10+ minutes :(

Plus Alex doesn't have his board. Can we just play at Harbourfront? I'm going to the beaches the next day.

I was so bogged down with exams I didn't get to shred NEARLY as much as I wanted these past weeks. I had a crazy hectic first year at school, but the shredding we got done this year was a lot of fun, FAT. Despite the extended downtimes, my game improved quite a bit. I can hit strong side flails like nothing, and I have a half decent pixie set! I was playing with North Bay Sam and had an almost guiltless, almost twenty contact string, with only a few legover bails.

It looks like the club is picking up now that I'm gone, which sucks for me to miss but I'm happy for y'all none the less. I'm sure I'll be able to go to Toronto at least once this summer. I'll give you all plenty of notice so you can prepare for my splash.

See you guys next year, no matter what!

Edit: Alex, if Joel doesn't want your Lavers, could you hold them for me?

Right on, Dan. Hope to play with you again soon.

Where in Union, Alex? How about by the McDonalds at, say, 11:30 ish.

And where should we all meet at Harbour Front?

I have to leave soon for Toronto. I'm just gonna go ahead and wait for Alex and anybody else at the McDonalds in Union at 11:30, wait around for a few minutes, then walk over to the Harbour Front. I guess I'll wait on the boardwalk where those cool old-timey boats are.

Hope to see you there!

Yeah on the boardwalk I guess by the music garden! Or up on the stage at the music garden, it's the perfect place to play!

Ya'll may wanna bundle up, it'll be a bit chilly today, esp by the water.

Sure Camille, I'm in for Tuesday after work.

Can we get a third? I just watched that youtube video that Jay's friend made and I'm afraid that I alone won't be much entertainment compared to your usual company.

Also, my Monday has more or less cleared up. I'll check in the morning to see if anyone's up for something. You can also give me a buzz at 647-217-JOEL.

Don't ever worry about your skill level around other players, Joel. We all started at the same place (ie: bloody awful), and we all know how hard it is to advance in this crazy sport. As long as you show up eager to learn and improve, no one will mind having you in their circle.

Today was a fun session guys! I totally got a sunburn on the left side of my face and neck. We should have rotated the circle a bit as we played!

:D Thanks! I'll keep that in mind.

Alex, I think I'll take you up on those Lavers. They should be the right size, or at least close. If it turns out they don't fit, or if I end up prefering my own shoes (which I guess is unlikely), I can always put them back on the market right?

Camille, I'm off work at 6 today. I could leave an hour earlier if it would be more convenient. Do you want to meet somewhere at 6:15?

AW man, I got TOTALLY sunburned! :( My shoulders really really hurt. I was stupid not to think to bring sunscreen. But that was fun session! And Alex and I had a fun adventure to the reptile store afterward, where we ogled lizards and played with puppies! :)

Joel- how about 6:30? I'm on dinner duty tonight and I'd like to eat before. And please don't worry about your level! It'll be fun no matter what.

Let's meet at Trinity Bellwoods Park on the stage in the bowl. It's an octagonal stage, at the bottom of the path leading north. It's in the north west side of the park, down the hill, near the building with the washrooms. Any problems gimme a call.

Thanks for the session last night Camille! :D

Anyone up for a session Wednesday or Thursday evening?

I think Camille said she's out this week. Mike, Alex, Vic?

Pulled off one pixie the other day. Couldn't even make it BSOS. A slow start.

:(

Anyone want to meet up Saturday or Sunday this coming weekend?

Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday after 5:30 would be good too.

I can do early on the weekend because I work after. If we do it near Camille's place (right where I work) then I can play until 4 or 5, depending on the day. Either way, its definitely a possibility...

What works for you?

Is 11 too early? I realize that's nowhere near 4 or 5.

11 works, although I might be a bit late -- noon is a safer bet. I got laid off, so I don't need to be there for 4 :)

Haha, where shall we play? I don't know the Bellwoods area very well, so you can pick something. I'm a fan of Dundas Square, but it is VERY dirty and public, so, take your pick :)

Either way, my digits be 604-649-5293 -- its a vancouver number, so don't bother calling (I won't pick up) but text away and I'll be on it. That way, you can give me a time and place up till an hour before I have to be there :)... or post here, I'll check that too.

PS - I'll bring my lavers and we can see if they fit!!

EDIT: I'll also need to know a day... Saturday or Sunday both work, but if its early, I'd like to know the day before so I can wake my ass up in time.

EDIT2: I realize I used an unnecessary amount of smileys, but I'm in a great mood, which is weird seeing as I got laid off :\ But, alas :)
