imo, it's not that vasek's game is in decline ( although it is, just a little bit ), but that the world is catching up to him & he isn't training 8 hours a day to keep the same pace ahead of the competition any longer.
saying "he can lazily bust montage" isn't as big a statement today as it was years ago, because i'm sure we can all think of a number of players throwing montage into their strings now.
last year's worlds was a perfect example...a different player won every freestyle event. the talent is spreading out & growing. vasek is largely responsible for this enormous leap forward & deserves an insane amount of respect.
but from an analytical standpoint, i can't let that cloud my judgement about what is happening right now in the present. imo, his game dropped off a little bit.
( imo, not necessarily with respect to trick selection & difficulty, but style & execution are not as tight as they used to be, which is what i feel is being referred to when folks mention that "spark" being gone. )
i don't say these things to be derogatory, but rather to "light that fire" to prove me wrong.
because regardless of anyone's negative comments, everyone here wants to see vasek dominate bitches, including kyle.
i'm interested to see his performance this year, to see whether he was inspired by his loss to damian to bring it back in force. i think this is the best time in footbag history for vasek to prove he is the best, as the gap between himself & his competition is the smallest it has ever been.
Vasek demo
I read this whole pointless thread from beginning to end and I have to say BOOOOOOOOO.
Poor Kyle - he never once attacked anyone "unprovoked". (Completely different matter once his buttons were pushed) In fact, Milan was clearly out of line with the break your face comment and then the foreign language comments.
Milan - Violence solves nothing. I know, I made similar comments to Mr. Peter Irish and humbly ate them later.
To sum it up:
- Most of the posters on this thread have a bug up their ass for Vasek. Understood, he is incredible!
- Kyle simply disagrees. Respect his opinion to disagree, but bashing him for it, makes you him
