What footbags do you recommend

I am getting really into footbagand I want to try the great stitchers footbags out
I have played with
Abshire bags
Josh raye briefly
I just bought a brianbear but don't have it yet

Who's bags should I get next
â€¢I have hear some good things about Aaron shepard and matt cross

And why do you reccomend this stitcher

From personal experience... Oshbags, Shredzilla Bags, Clavens bags, and Abshires are all great.

My personal fav is Abshires' Amaretta Fearless 55. I have 2, and love them dearly.

Chris's are seriously off the hook. You have never played with anything like a CD bag.

CD bags - none heavier, none floppier.

I have an Abshire bag I got from freedom footbags and it's great. It took a little while to work in and is lighter than I like, but a nice bag overall. I'm also on my second Hania bag that I ordered here. They are very nice and I highly recommend trying them.

I also just ordered a Matt Cross, Cale McCoy and Brian Bear bag. I'll let you know what I think once they arrive.

Bags from Elemental Footbags. Lotus' new line of footbags are off the hook. The 32s and 20-panels come highly recommended.

I won't lie, I use my bags for everyday shred

But a close second and third for me are Cale and MC bags...
I really like the mini i got from tom mosher, but i don't think he sells bags anymore? Anyways, I have a new bag from Marco in Germany that is shaping up to be AWESOME. only a week or two old and already premium.
I think any bags made by one of the dedicated individuals on this forum would be worth your time and money

i play with my bags as well, but my other favorite stitchers (that ive played with) are

-clavens, for sure number one.
-hania
-funk (he doesnt stitch anymore though)
-abshires are good as well
-josh rayes, my first two bags were his

thats all i can think of right now.

do you guys buy bags from people on here frequently enough to know how good the unknown stitchers are

how do you determine if they actually make quality bags pictures dont tell you how they play and they are not going to say they make awful bags

Well, I've practically traded, bought, felt, tried and played with bags made by all of the stitchers listed in this topic (and then some), so I can say with confidence that I know how each stitcher that is listed makes their bags. It would be too much to describe in this topic individually, so it's probably best to PM me (or anyone that has used "so-&-so" bag) to give you an in-depth feedback on the stitcher's sewing size and filler feel. Also ask what they've hit recently with so-&-so bag, and if they have a video posted on this site, all the better.

What I do know is that Abshire and Hania overfill their bags, but Hania bags are much more tolerable in the break-in process. I feel that if you refill an Abshire bag with looser and heavier fill, they are wonderful bags, but with their original fill (tungsten + poly pellets), I think there is just way too much of a plastic-to-tungsten ratio to make them any good for freestyle. I also think his amaretta bags are on the *really* small size, but they play well for how they're made, and they're loosely filled. Hania bags, on the other hand, are mostly filled with a light steel fill that doesn't rust, so with a loosely sewn bag with some hand-kneading, kicks and tricks, her bags are something amazing.

Brian Bear makes some amazing bags, and he fills them extra loose and heavy. He's your man if you want a decent-to-large bag that plays floppy, heavy, and instantly shreddable. He fills most of his bags with lead, which in my belief is the best performing filler out there, but if you're antsy about toxicity ask for tungsten.

If you're going for affordability, really, Lotus distributes some of the best low-priced footbags for your buck. Really, no joke. Yes, he's had to struggle in his previous models on making his bags perform well for footbag, but his new 10th anniversary range takes the cake. He's using some of the smallest steel shot I have ever seen, and his freestyle 32s break-in really nice (the red/blue and yellow/grey especially; the grey/multi-color takes much longer to break-in completely). Great weight, loosely filled, decent size for freestyle - his 32s (and 20-panels) are amazing. Just be sure to wash and rinse your bags well once they get dirty because his bags are filled with steel shot bearings, and that can rust.

Like Brian has mentioned, I usually use the bags that I make, but if I had to choose four bags that I would use at a club shred (other than my own), they would have to be Lotus' elemental footbags, MC, Brian Bear and Hania 32s.

PS: Chris Dean makes amazing bags as well.

prior to me starting this topic i had bought a brianbear fooybag and a gary d'allessandro 4 panel so i am not gping to buy any more right now but what i have taken out o this topic is tat the premier stitchers are

has anyone played with gary d'allessandro or aaron shepard cuz i bought one of his bags as i saud earlier it was 5$ so i just went right ahead how are they and how is aaron shepard ive heard great things so just curious

IÂ´m starting to play my brand new brian bag ( traded bag)... ItÂ´s so cool, soft and playable at first time. I also have both mini abshire and a fearless 55, pretty nice for sure.
Some time ago I had a Lesh bag but I lost it

was an awesome Bag. He doesnÂ´t stitch anymore.
I hope to try an MC , everybody talk very wel about his bags.
Hannia Bags are incredibles...
I have an old Lon Irish bag It rocks...
You have tons of stories to choice, a lot of hours and hurt fingers. very cool people everywhere you look in stitcher world.

The last bags that I kicked with that wasn't my own were a couple of fearless 55's and an Muffin Bag from Erik Chan. All of them were really good bags. The two abshire's were heavy and tiny, just about perfect for some intense shuffle. Erik's bag was heavy and bigger, good for lots of ducking and spinning.

Lately I've started to use my own bags. I've had compliments from Ken Somolinos and Big Add Chad about them.

I've spoken to her recently, and she mentioned that she hasn't stitched in a long while.

I don't believe Clavens is stitching, either, but maybe if you ask him twice (once to start, and again after he says it won't be good), and offered to pay a premium, you could get him to bang one out for you.

I am not sure about Josh Raye.
