Are the Rod Laver Vintage shoes any good for footbag? I am only asking because i can pick some brand new ones up fot 15$

find a pic online and post it and you'll get an answer very quickly. You should buy them just for fashion at that price anyway...
lots of the vintage ones are not good for footbag, but a few are, so make sure you post the pic.

No, these would be terrible for footbag.
Stick to what most experienced players recommend: Lavers, Quantums, G-Units, Climas.

Correct. You regular sneakers would work just as well, so don't waste your money.
Also, do not sweat too much as far as the price of Lavers or any other shoe goes. They are worth every single cent that you're paying and will last for a very very very very long time.
