It's still sore and swollen. But if I do a bunch of infinities, it feels better. It's the top of the ankle and the clipper muscle that hurts. I'd rather add resistance to that muscle than let it rest and get atrophy.

James Randall gave me back my old lavers and I've been trying some low impact tricks with them. The toe box is really weird with the huge rails. Today after work I tried osis>gyro whirl>barfly>rpt in the lavers and got it first try. but they feel really heavy, bulky, and I can't feel the bag because only the lacing mod has been done. They've become my street shoes so it'll be a long time before the inside surface and toe mods are done.

The jam was sooo fun. Everyone that came were chill and good times were had. Thank you to James Randall, Jake, Aaron Sheppard, Scott Behmer, Flavio, Jim, Daryl, Sunny, Dylan Freeman-Genz, Cameron Freeman-Genz, Jake Wren, Nick Landes, Riley Stark, Evan Lovely, Ben Little, Jere Bechard-Somberg, Seth Martin, Boone Penske, and Collin Lund for making it to the Jam. Hope I'm not forgetting anyone.

Sick3 in random order:
-Riley Stark: step ss blender>far osis> pdx blender
-Nick Landes: 69> mullet> spin blender
-Boone Penske: Step far legover> mirage> butterfly kick
-Jake Wren: Legbeater> ripwalk>ps whirl
-Jim Penske: Nemesis> ps whirl> ps whirling swirl

Sick Trick random order:
-Aaron Sheppard: Reactor
-Nick Landes: Nuke opp torque
-Jake Wren: Spin duck motion, fusion, superfly
-Riley Stark: Food processor
-Ben Little: legbeater, pinch ss dada curve, blindfolded knee delay
-Jim Penske: frontside nemesis

Rippin Run:
-Flavio

Circle:
-Nick Landes

Flavio is hanging around for 3 weeks in Montana. I've been showing him how to eat like an American :)

So I've been starting and ending every session with Infinity x20>Osis x10>(Pdx Mirage>Butterfly) x10 and have been calling it the Crowley drill.

Just thought you should know.

Thanks, but that's not my drill, it's 99% of my so-called "freestyle" strings

The text under the last picture means "Christmas is saved".

I like the peace sign.

And thanks for the results. Some rad stuff in there.

Played for about 2.5 hours downtown at out-to-lunch, another .5 with Jere at his house, and just got done with a 40 minute solo session. Feels good. I used to have abs, now it's a one-pack. need to exercise more and eat/consume alcohol less.

Flavio has a fever.

some hilights:
-jere hit ducking legover>pixie ss clip>rpt into a string. that was really cool
-alternating toe kick x 711
-had a string w/ bsos ducking and bsos diving illusions. just one of those tricks is huge for me so was super stoked to get them. I suck at illusions. my eggbeaters are better than my illusions.
-spin duck illusion>string
-alpine blizzard
-gyro legover>flux>string w/ flip flux
-ddd>pdx torque bsos
-ddd>gyro whirl bs
-rubberman *it's been a long time since I've been able to hit this drill and somehow got it x2*
-diving whirl>mobius>string
-pdx drifter>blender>rpt
-lots and lots and lots of tiltless

What a crazy ass night. I went to the northside of town, got obnoxiously drunk, and tried to find my way home. I walked about 10miles in the wrong direcction, jumped a moving train on my way back, fucked up my knee on the dive off the train on the way back to town, ended up still about 10miles from my house, bought a cab, didn't have enough money to pay him back, and had to steal money from my mom to pay him off. what the fuck

I (thankfully) don't have those experiences anymore. Among the positive things about getting older is this: you get really good at partying, not getting overly wasted, and being worth something the next day. You'll get there young grasshoppa :)

I never try cooking without a set recipe. So today was the day to step out of my comfort zone and try freestyle cooking with the few things sitting in the pantry. It's a tiltless casserole and is currently cooking.

-1lb ground beef
-1lb large elbow macaroni
-2 diced tomatoes
-10 oz greenbeans
-1 can black beans
-1 can vegetable broth
-1/4 bottle raspberry vinegarette
-2 chopped garlic cloves
-season all
-black pepper
-ground ginger
-garlic salt
-lemon pepper
-covered in shredded medium cheddar cheese

Repeat of something mentioned in the past: and oh yeah, after reading C-Fan's blog, I'm stoked that the term 'whizz' caught on. Jams Randall and I coined that term a few years ago, so one of my footbag goals has been met (name a trick). After naming it, we discovered that gyro whirling inside is 'Gee Whizz'

Couldn't sleep last night, so I played some footbag. Just tried new tricks, my non-existent flip stepping ducking, and bops/tiltless. Got some new tricks on camera, I'll try and post those tonight. One's that were hit when the camera died are stepping diving ss mirage bs, and alpine blurriest bs.
