Subject'd'd!

Lets do both days!

Noon is fine, but I must warn you I'm going to up and bolt at 1 or shortly after as I've booked myself at some hackeysack circles in Brampton, mid-afternoon both days.

So far I don't have enough attendees confirmed to make either circle work so I may cancel one or both events. We'll see :)

Dundas square it is. I'm fine with dirty and public :P. I have no spots other than Union and Bellwoods park so far. There are dog parks near my work at King and Spadina that have trees and shade, but they aren't remarkable.

Where are you coming from? And where were you working?

Hey... if I got laid off, I'd be in a good mood for a while too. Free time to pursue other endevours, a chance at a fresh start at a new job, and maybe a final escape from the old job I might have hated.

I'm coming from Yonge + Finch area, so Dundas Square is great -- say, Dundas Square at.... 11:30 on Saturday? That work?

You don't know what I look like :P

I'll have a giant red backpack on and a funny baseball cap. I'll also be milling around looking lost (If I get there first)... If you get there first, I'll be looking around for someone who I am meeting but don't know what they look like....

My first instinct would be to look for the guy shredding.

Hmmm... for your benefit I'll wear a bright red bandana around my neck though. It will clash with whatever else I'm wearing, I'm sure.

So the bandana didn't clash, and the weather was good.

After being kicked out of Dundas Square for playing "hackeysack", and after me taking forever to get warmed up, Alex and I started up a good session on the busy sidewalk across across the street outside the Eaton's Centre. We were joined by a Jamaican drum line. :)

Alex pulled off some good flails and I... just barely saved face by getting my clippers working. I did get in a few good stepping moves by the end.

Don't know if I'll be able to move tomorrow. Alex, I think we should pick a date further in the future.

How about Monday at 6?

Camille, Mike, are you in town at the moment?
Vic... ...Vic????

Hmmm... we need more players. Who do I know that I could rope into this?

I have Thursday off, so I might be able to make it if there's a session happening. The earlier the better.

I could play Thursday as well, if there is a session brewing.

I just got a real work schedule, and it looks as though I can't really do much... If we play Thursday, I have to be home by noon. So, what, 9am wake up session anyone? Other than that, I'm pretty screwed for this week. But, Joel, some days I get off at 5 or 6 - so I can jet my ass down town and we can have an evening session... tell me if that works this week.

Thurs/Fri/Sat is probably the best for an evening session, and count me in for Thursday morning if its at, like 9-10am.

I'm considering 9 am Thursday. Usually I'm still on autopilot at that point in the morning, but if it were a session downtown I could probably make it before work. :)

I can't do Thursday evening Alex, but Friday evening, and any time Saturday is possible.

iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii'mmmmmmm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!!

My trip was amazing!!! So refreshing and fun! The prairies are so friggin beautiful! Jeez... it kinda sux to come back to the city *cough*cough*ugh*blagh*

Lane & I flew to Calgary, spent a few days at his sister's place in Strathmore, Alberta... went to Banff for his birthday... then drove to Regina, spent a few days with his mom there, then went to Grenfell, Saskatchewan to stay for a week on his dad's farm (where he grew up)!!! It was unbelievable! His family and friends are amazing.

Didn't have time to drive to Edmonton or Saskatoon to shred with anyone, but I did play a few times, including skooling on his dad's back patio while Lane practised guitar :D and looking out onto miles and miles of fields of NOTHIN'! :D

AND we did a gig at the high school!!! Lane played a show and we had a short "Footbag Funk!" segment where we freestyled off each other!!! Just like we did at that arts fest back in February. It was so cool! I wonder if any small town Sask kids will start kickin it up sometime in the future...

But anyway, now it's all snap back to reality time, cleaning and caring after reptiles, lookin for a job, and.... hackies wit ma fatties!!!

Who wants to play when?!

Oh, I totally agree. It's early. I bailed on a 9am session with Alex this morning (sorry Alex!). I'm usually at work by 10 though.

Vik, maybe if someone besides me is there they could shred right through 10. Or we could forget 9am entirely!

Are you free later than 6?
