Pete was playing really well too. flurry>legbeater, sailing butter, and looooong strings.
It was kinda funny/weird at one point in the middle of the session when some dude came up to us and was all "OH SHIT! You see what dat dude be doin wit dat thing?" directed at me talking about Pete. And I said, "Yeah, he's alright, I guess" in a sarcastic tone and the dude just mimics me, "OH he alright I GUESS. Yeah, I GUESS he aight!" and then he got all lovey-dovey and starting locking arms with me and hugging Pete and stuff. Then he got all serious and said to us, "Yo. I'll be over there... ya'll smoke weed? If ya wanna smoke weed, you come find me, ya know what im sayin." We both declined and thought, "what an interesting fellow." But then, like 5 minutes later he came over to us and was practically telling Pete to take a bag of "weed" from him. I didn't see it but apparently it was all wrapped up in plastic and unidentifiable. That combined with the fact that this dude was pushing so hard for Pete to take the stuff from him we told him no and he was all, "Come on man, I'm just an urban black dude. Come on ya'll. Pfft..." Then in the most cliche disappointed of tones he said, "Ya'll for real?" and sauntered away.
It was bizarre.
reading that story made me laugh all over again. that dude was SUCH a skeezer. he kissed me on the cheek too... he asked me where i work and i told him i work at a T Mobile kiosk in the prudential center haha.
...barefoot 
but i footed it in shoes a few times after i nailed it.
