Coming to Chicago from July 16-19... I'll be driving from Nashville and going through Illinois right past Champaigne.
If you need a ride, and you're on the way of my road trip (REID THIS MEANS YOU)... please get a hold of me and I'll be more than happy to pick you up and drop you off on the way. 5 seats open to whoever is down for Chitown. (I'm not running this event at all... if someone from CIC wants to take hold of the first post, please let me know and I'm sure we can arrange that with the moderators. )
PS. Taking footbag orders ahead of time. They will be way cheaper than they have been in the past.

Yeah, I would be down for that. I might leave friday because I'm taking off work most of that week already for U.S. Open, but I think that weekedn would work, and If I could i would catch a ride back.

We have been talking about July 18 for the date. I know it doesn't work perfectly for everybody, but it seems like it will work pretty well for almost everybody. Anyway, we'll keep ya posted.
Edit: Ha! Just double checked and I'm going to (just one night of) the Pitchfork Music Festival on Friday the 17th. Funny thing is I think I bought the ticket and suggested July 18th for the Birthday jam on the same day... so... anybody want to go to Pitchfork the day before? Lineup is here, all bands on Friday are playing a fan-decided setlist.
Hey guys, changed the topic name and some of the first post.
As of right now, my brother isn't going to know if he can make it up to Chicago with me or not... and won't know until basically the week of the event because he doesn't know how to budget money. I'll let you know as soon as he confirms.
Reid will be coming up on Friday by train(?) and riding back with me on Sunday.
Zach Jahner is coming on Thursday and leaving Saturday.
Just so everyone knows - Reile is gonna be out of town on July 16 & 17, returning the evening of July 17. So anybody who needs a place to crash July 16 can stay at my place.
I have a futon & an air mattress, with two on each that's four people. We can squeeze in a couple more on the floor as needed.
Bring a pillow, and a sleeping bag if you want one but probably not necessary unless you want some padding to sleep on the floor. If you're sleeping on the floor and can bring an air mattress or any other type of padding, that'd be a good idea.
