This is a hard one! Ok here goes, in reverse order:
5: bioshock
4: metal gear solid 4
3:ocarina of time
2:metal gear solid
1: legend of zelda links awakening

all these games are the ones that I feel have affected me most on an emotional level. Each one had me hooked long after I'd finished them. The list also includes one of the last games I completed in mgs4 and the very first game I completed when I was 7 in links awakening!

lol, I've always got my 8bit fix from the original gameboy, though do love super mario bros 3! Amazing game!

I loved socom 2 online, that game got my blood pumping like no other.
Edit- Asteroid, Sinistar, Double dragon, and my first in home game- space invaders.

I don't have five but "ShadowRun" for Sega Genesis was perhaps the dopest game ever. Way ahead of its time I believe.

"Trasher" for the original Playstation was also 10x better than any ghey Tony Hawk game.
