Had a good session today with Kyle. Was about 3 hours long. Messed around with some drills. Tried to work on b2b clippers and infinities as much as possible. Hit many long runs with 20 contacts and few 2's.

Im going to Florida on May 27th for a family vacation, I'll be in Orlando for 7 days and I'm gona try to shred as much as I can while I'm there, but sadly I might not because of the rain. Ill make the best of it though.

While in Florida I would love to hit...

 Infinity>Ripwalk
 Ducking DLO
 Pdx DLO

and drill...

 Mirage>Butterfly>ss Mirage>rpt (On Flipside)
 Pdx Mirage>Butterfly>ss Mirage
 Infinity>ss Butterfly>Infinity>ss Butterfly
 Infinity>Pdx Mirage>Butterfly>Pdx Mirage

and ofcourse drill b2b clippers and infinities...

Also, If anyone is from the Orlando Florida area and would like to shred anytime from May 28th-June 3rd, Let me know.

Had a great time in Florida, but didnt get to shred much... I only got 3 sessions out of the 7 days I was there. Not because the weather, just too busy with Family and stuff... It was a good time though, and I had lots of fun. But for a more on topic approach...

Ive been doing nothing but drilling... Drill Drill Drill. I'm over the whole wanting to hit big tricks thing. I know whats important now, and I have found it to be more fun doing what Im doing now. Ive been working on mainly clipper related stuff (ex. Clipper>Far Clipper, SS Mirage, Pdx Mirage, Infinity>Infinity) All this stuff is what I have been working on for the past couple of days... Since I got back from Florida I have had 2 sessions, yesterday and today. I had great sessions both times, but I didnt really remember anything I did as of "Highlights"... But today was a good day, and I have a fresh memory

::Highlights::

 DLO>Eggbeater

 Ducking Butterfly>Ducking Clipper

 Pdx Mirage>Butterfly>Pdx Mirage>Symposium Mirage>Ducking Clipper

 Mirage>Smear>10 b2b (Clipper>Far Clippers)>Handcatch!

 Dimwalk

 32 b2b Clipper>Far Clippers!!!! 8O

The practice has payed off...

Had a FANTABULOUS session today!!! Drilled Pdx Mirage and Infinities. Also messed around with osis here and there and Im surprisingly decent at it both sides. I was hitting osis mid string and it felt great to be able to link out of it. I think i will start doing the Osis>ss Clipper drill Matt K was telling me about. I also tried Far Osis, and I really like that trick! It adds style to my runs for sure, and I can hit it bothsides, which might help me with Torque. Who knows  I played for about an hour and a half today and for atleast half of that time I was playing guiltless. For some reason all I was doing was Pdx Mirage, Infinities, ss Butter, Osis, and symposium Mirages. I wasnt even forcing myself to do those trick either, it just seemed natural. Also, I was constantly getting 10-20 contacts every run, which is nice for me since I was only doing 3's. For the first half of my session I mainly did b2b Infinities, and I seem to be feeling more of a natural stall on my flip side and I like the way things are progressing. I want to try to be more stationary on my infinities though, evertime I drill infinities, I start and 10 contacts later I end up 20 feet from where I started. That needs to change!!! My legs have been feeling kinda weird the past couple of days, and I hope its not because I shred too much. I stretch all the time and my legs feel fine, but when I get back from a session Im always sore. Everyday I tell myself "Im gona take a break today..." but it never happens...

I love the sport too much.

Its been about a full year of playing, and I really wish those winter months never happened... I would have to say that I probably only played footbag for 8 out of the 12 months this year. I really wish I could of had that extra time to shred. But oh well, its summer now, and I have a full 3 months to shred anytime of the day, or atleast till I get a job  Ive been drilling a lot lately. Now Im doing b2b osis and ducking clippers. I feel that my infinities are just as strong as my b2b clippers, so Im gona try to make some progression in another field (if you will.) Pdx Mirages are getting strong and I'm starting to use osis as a bail instead of ss mirage, which is way better feeling. I can hit my DLO and Eggbeater fairly easy on my strong side, and thats good because when I move onto those double dex tricks, I can work them flip and then all the other ones will probably come easy. I can hit DATW and Double Switchover also. I guess hitting 4 double dex tricks isnt that bad for a years worth of play.

Progression...

I had a decent session today, and it was kinda early. New Jersey has been very humid for the past couple of days, and thats something I need to get used to. I hate the heat... It was funny playing today, because there was a bunch of construction workers working on my nextdoor neighbors house. And ofcourse they wondered what the heck I was doing jumping all over the place with this little bag  So for atleast half of my session I had an audience of slightly confused construction workers. It was fun, and I wasnt bothered by it at all. I actually enjoyed the attention while playing. I almost think I played better with a crowd watching. I had a run that started with Ducking Butter>Ducking Clipper>10+ contacts tiltless, and they went crazy!!! They thought I was amazing... I guess they have never seen the sport before. Hahaha.

Had a couple of sessions since ive posted here.

Progression...

Infinities are feeling very natural. Osis is coming along, I just need to remember too look over my shoulder before the "spin", sometimes I get lazy and let my legs do the work, but I know that wont be good in the long run. Pdx Mirage is getting very solid, still a little off balance flip but I can link it well. Ducking Clippers are way more consistent, working on throwing them in midstring. Set, eh, theyre coming along, strong side atleast.

Highlights

 18 Infinities

 Diving Clipper

4 hour session...

The way my legs feel. Undescribable...

All basic 3's are getting solid. Flip ducking clipper needs some work. The ducking is fine, its just the height of my clipper set is a little off sometimes.

Sick 3 for the day

Another session Monday! Woooot!

Hey, I'll definitely let you know next time we all play. Unfortunately there's a possibility that it might not be for another month or so due to busy schedules.

If there's a day that I have my car and absolutely nothing to do, I'll let you know. Also, if you have Jordan Z's number, try and hit him up too. He's mobile.

Hopefully see you soon!

The spinning clipper was nice, really high set (about ducking hight) and I caught the bag so close to me. I really like the trick. But its nothing I plan on doing mid-string anytime soon.

Pheonix, hit it 2 times in my session. I guess I can duck those pixies

Hello Everybody!

Ive been playing a lot lately in Lavers, I really like them, and Im very used to them as of my recent session.

Ive been working on basics...

 SS Mirage Toe/Clipper
 Legover Toe/Far/Near
 SS Legover
 Flip Butterfly
 Infinity

I really wana get this all solid before I go into BOP's...

I know I kinda rushed into BOP's early on, and that was a mistake.

Ever since Ive been doing strings with my basics, I average about 15-20 contacts every string. It feels so much better to hit 20 tricks without dropping than doing 3 adds and dropping after 3 tricks. I love footbag.
