NYC was awesome. i took 2nd place in sick 3 with surge>smoke>pdx torque. sauced blurry torque again. hit big apple a couple times. played well overall. it was good staying with jenns cousin, good shit.

i forgot i hit dimwalk ending on toe>whirl in that sesh with ben little too.
i wish he posted in the blog because it kinda sucks that the scene in boston is pretty solid right now but im virtually the only one that posts, plus he is definitely improving and branching out his moves so i feel like posting would help him keep track of his progress and be motivating. anyway...

so fran dropped by (aka stayed for like 3 hours ; ) the shop today and we were shootin the shit, and i guess his knee is healthy and he doesnt work on weekends anymore, so thats ill that he's like back on the scene. he kicked today at the christian science center by himself too while i was at work and reported afterwards that he hit his first ever pdx whirl. good shit.

session sunday at 1 pm on the common. looks like it will be:

-Asa EvenNewerKid
-Kevin numbah 1
-kevin numero 2-oh.
so as long as it doesnt rain it should be a pretty cool session. i just checked weatherdotcom and it says that theres a 30% chance of morning showers...so i guess worst case scenario we could even just play in the big gazebo on the common. thatd be kinda straight. my legs/knees feel mad good too so i have a good feeling about that session already.
im just basically hoping to chill and relax this weekend cuz jenn is out of town so i have no excuse not to chill out a bit.

yeah i know it was nuts. it was me and ben little playing in some park/playground by my work and it was gorgeous out and some random band of very talented middle aged white guys playing classic swing and jazz tune after another (minnie the moocher among others, good shit) for the dozens of kids and parents watching and dancing. we were both shredding our asses off and the atmosphere was perfect. ben gave out a sandman to some little black kid who showed a lot of interest. i had a lot of really epic strings i could honestly never remember. i also am working up my flip pdx blender and trying to keep what i got for flip spinning, pixie and atomic.

session today probably with just alex newkid. its aight he's cool though and im not in the mood for a big long session today. for now just drinking spoiled milk and eatin a blueberry bagel . why did dunkin donuts get rid of blueberry bagels??
