New Steel City Vid

Post by mattbeall »

Hey guys, I made a new video, if you want to check it out.

So, if anyone watched the one I made last year, this one is pretty much in line with that one. I didn't try to hit huge tricks that are above my level or get crazy shred, or whatever, and in the few cases that a clip looked good that contained a thin or the'd trick, I just left it. I focused way more on making it look artistic and fun and cool for both people who play and who don't.

Hope you guys like it!

Oh, here's a clip from there with the original sound left in. That building that I filmed in doesn't have floors! It's all burned out and condemned; the only kids I know that even know about the place go there to have squatter hang outs and stuff, haha. So it was pretty tough to actually play at all down there. Check it out, you can hear shit breaking under my feet. Hahaha.

Nice editing. I really liked the shots in the warehouse where it looks like the dust is coming out of your feet.

Matt, as I told you on the phone last night, I thought this vid was awesome. Very artistic, very well edited, and obviously I love your game.

We will shred at Funtastik together. And then again when I'm up in your area for Christmas.

Very soothing video. I really liked the song. It's strange how when I watch intense shred in slow motion it has a calming effect on me. Your shred was really good. Thank you for making this video.

I already praised you with my youtube commentary, so I'll try some constructive criticism here.

I'd like to see more B reel footage, like of you walking around, or a bird flying through the warehouse, or you saying something insightful about life. Know what I'm sayin? Just so that it's not 100% footbag the whole way through.

Props again though, yinz got skills

Hey, thanks for all the nice comments guys. I appreciate it. See you all around sooner or later.

Jake, you got me. I wanted to shoot another day for that type of stuff, but then I started editing what I already had and was like, "Oh well." Haha.

Nice video, Matt. I agree with everyone else and really liked the dust under your feet and just the creativity overall.

I wish I could find more ways to kick with you and the other guys in Pittsburgh. I missed it.
