I'll be writing more on my blog later, much later. I haven't slept much since Friday and probably won't till Sunday. Most of my worlds so far has been taken up answering questions and sitting in front of various computers. So far I haven't been made a liar with my very optimistic prediction that everything would run on-time, even with the intermittant rain. Speaking of which, on Monday Ted Fritsch played the most epic routine in the history of footbag, hopefully someone got it on film. Expect my posts going forward to make even less sense than this.

Let me say something about the tournament and the experience.

So far I've attended three Worlds (Frank, Praha, Berlin), including FootJam05 and this truly was one of the best mix between FJ and a Worldchamps tournament. But it goes beyond that. It starts with the super nice player's booklet you can even read while it's raining - the material is unbeatable. Further to free fruits, access to washrooms and covered spots, to unforgettable parties, location, livestream and almost 2000 spectators for the finals. Really every detail was planned with mastery and professionalism.
I am really astonished how they could afford to do all these things with "only" the registration fee and some sponsors.
Anyway, I do not have the time to write a longer sum up and I am sure the modifieders will do the job better than I can.

Just a big big big thanks to the Berlin crew! The next year's organizer will have a damn hard job to top this tournament. Berlin showed all of us how Worlds SHOULD be organized

By far the best tournament i have ever attended.
The berlin crew did a wonderful job, huge thanks to everyone who helped organizing the event.
From now on, worlds should always be in Berlin and should happen at least twice a year..

Other then that, Juho`s shred has stood out for me

Actually, Jeff Mudd didn't play 2-square. It was Alex Dworetzky.

And I won game 1 against Sebastien, so it was 1 to 3, not 0 to 2.

Do you have the results from the first pools? That'll help with seeding those players who didn't make semi-finals.

Thanks. It's awesome to have the results to this detail! I hope we can do the same for all the freestyle events, not just the final round players. For example, what were the rankings in Requset Contest past 2? Whoever dropped out one round before Bartek tied for 3rd, the next set tied for 4th, etc.

For open singles and women's singles freestyle, can we get the results for the previous pools, too? For ranking/seeding we need to have everything -- who tied for 9th (3rd place in semifinals), 13th (4th place in semifinals), etc. and also it's useful for relative ranking to know who competed against whom in which pool in freestyle because that's head-to-head data that is more useful than comparing across pools, when doing seeding.

@Cod: can you help track all this down if you're going to help with getting a ranking system in place?
