Worlds 2009 Video Contest entry - Reindeer Games

Hello everybody!

We shot a short movie for this year's Worlds Video Contest. The video is called Reindeer Games. It is half storylined and half hardcore shred, so I hope it pleases all audiences. Starring Juho Marjo, Mikko LepistÃ¶ and Pekka Raitio.

I loved it. Good idea, pulled off well. It made me giggle a few times, especially the soccer scene.

Well shot and edited too. And, of course, great footbag in the second half. I think I'll be saving this video to show to others. Thanks for making it!

that was great, the intro was awesome. was that squirrel meant to be there?

juho is off the charts, mikko's style looks better in units, and i've never seen pekka before but he was pretty sick too. i want to post spoilers because they're so sick but i want everyone to see it for themselves, ridiculous.

I think it was. The question is, was it real? And if so, was it trained? I'm leaning towards the former, with the help of some clever editing.

Fantastic video, thanks heaps

Unfortunately when I tried to download the hd version I got this error;

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /reindeergames/ReindeerGames_1080p.mp4 on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I would love the HD version if this can be fixed

Super super sexy footage again Jerre, such a pleasure to watch! Do you own the EX1 or is it on loan? What a piece of equipment! 35mm lens does wonders for this video.
I found myself laughing at the start too, simple but effective hahah
Glad to see more film from you, and sick shred from the Finnish boys, would love to see more of both!

I think the link is working now. There were some hotlinking preventions, I hope I managed to remove them.

About the squirrel, it was real and not trained. It was just extremely tame and with some nuts and luck we got a couple shots of it. Luckily they fit in the intro. In the third squirrel shot it is quite hilarious how the animal first looks at Pekka then at Mikko and runs away. I don't know if you can even have trained squirrels to do that.

We have two EX1's, IMO it is the best camera in that price range.

one of my favorite videos of all time. i loved the acting, the storyline, and the incredible shred. some of juho's four contact drills are ridiculous.

did it win the video comp? it would have gotten my vote, plus 5.
