Hey guys, I am probably gonna drive through the U.S.A. over the summer some time with my best friend. (I'm thinking probably the beginning of July-ish, because I would love to make U.S. Open?) A tentative route is something like:
Winnipeg >
North Dakota >
Montana (Crowley?) >
Idaho (Freedom/Penske/Jackson Bros) >
Oregon (U.S. Open??) >
CALIFORNIA
(And then Toronto after hopefully, after the return)
Would floor space be available for crashing in some of these areas? I will probably be in Idaho for the longest, since the trip is based around our friend who lives there and also... going to California!
I'll update as we make plans. I hope shred will be a big part of this trip! Also, we don't know anything about the U.S.A., so if you have tips or anything for traveling a route like this, please share! (We just need passports to get over, right?)

Rad! Thanks for the positive feedback, guys!
We're gonna start planning the trip probably on the weekend, so what you say here may determine where we go and stay! We may not make U.S. Open, because my friend is hoping to volunteer for a big music festival that happens just outside my city every year on the same weekend, but we'll see what happens.
(Oh, and by floorspace, I mean for two? Acceptable?)

Hey Eric,
If you get a chance, you should definitely swing through Portland, you certainly have a place to stay : ) We encourage everyone to come to Portland to see what the group has become and check out what we are doing. This doesn't necessarily have to be on the US Open date, although that will be something to see as well!

The day is nigh, my friend.
So, this still isn't too-well planned.
I'm off to Toronto for a couple weeks on Wednesday and then I will come back and hopefully leave on this trip on the 1st-ish of August. I will probably be in Washugal(?), Washington for the 14th, since my friend is presenting her award-winning film. And that is really the only set date that is a part of this trip so far. I would like to journey up to B.C. after the U.S.A. briefly too. I'll try to keep this updated as I know what's happening.
PS: Vegas sounds good
