I bought this as soon as I saw it was available, as i talked briefly with Dan and how he was making it, and what an important thing it was to capture this knowledge for the future of the sport.

I highly reccommend it so far, having read about 30 pages in one sitting! Its almost 100 pages in length and covers the psychology behind learning footbag moves and becoming really good at footbag. I wont give a full review here but its written largely from Vasek's voice and covers surprisingly indepth philosophical type things and the surprising depth of knowledge Vasek has of his own body and Footbag and how to combine these two things.

I think it would make great reading for any footbagger, new or old, and I reckon they should be charging far more than they are; at USD$5 its a steal.

Bought it, read it. No regrets. I think everyone can take a lot from the words in this ebook. I'd love to have something like this in print.

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for putting up the link to the ebook on modified ! Thats cool. I finished collecting the info on the saturday night before we all went to world. And much of the trick tips section was still dot points then. I really wanted this out by worlds, and it was announced durig the mixed dobles net final.

I have have a rough last couple of days because the server broke when too many people bought it and then i had trouble up[grading it. There were about 15 people that attempted to download the manual. So if you were one of those people I am so so so sorry that it didn't work, please try it again.

Also should the topic be moved to the For Sale section of modified?

dan, maybe start your own for-sale topic? then you can regulate it / edit it a little easier.

Yeah, I really liked this book! I'm about a third of the way through, and although it's easy to read it makes you think quite a bit. I even printed out a hard copy so i can mark sections I want to come back to

I recommend it, especially at 4 dollar something US.

yeah I should do that - i think that is a good idea, i didnt know if modified servers just transport the whole discussion with magic dust or something else happens.

THE BOOK IS NOW DOWNLOADABLE, im getting a couple of automatic emails from it working well every few hours so I think its solid.

awesome- im glad its easy to read, because this was one of my top priorities. i wanted to keep vasek's voice, but change the structure so that the topics could be easily followed. We basically did all of the psychological and how to train footbag simultaneously and there was absolutely no order. the hardest section to order was definitely the psychologocal, but both i and vasek beleive this is the most valuable to people.

This manual is beautiful. It is definitely a manual, a manual on life, learning, self awareness, zen, and of course...footbag. I am about 50 pages in and I am very surprised at the direction of this manual and have a new appreciation of Vasek and his art.
This manual has inspired me to be a better musician , a better practitioner, and a better shredder. PS. I happened to also hit ripstein bsos for the first time where it looked good and felt good. I also learned how to feel when I was about to drop and was able to anger through that barrier.

I just downloaded this, and I'm pretty happy with what I read so far (just the biography so far, but that in itself is a pretty good read).

I am pretty new to footbag, so I hope this manual helps, but at a price of $5, how can anyone not get this, right?

Anyways...one thing I wanted to point out is that the link on the first post is broken (at least it doesn't work for me)

It took me a while to go to freedom footbags' site and find the blog about it, so I just wanted to point out the typo.

below is the working link:

The only difference is the capital 'i' in ...Itemid=70

Just thought someone might like to correct that.

Have started reading this and agree it's very good and completely recommended.

It's interesting that a lot of the information is the same stuff that sports psychologists tell you too. Good stuff

I'm really interested in this manuel. I'm not much of an e-reader myself, but once I find access to a printer I'll definitely buy this e-book and print it out at my local college.

I would gladly pay $10-15 dollars if this book comes out on paperback (I would buy 2 in total; one to use and one for back-up).
