The fourth from the left is now MINE!! I still need to replace some of its filling with lead; I like my footbags heavy and poisonous, you wimpy Europeans won't understand.

I wish I had the patience and skills to make bags.. I'd call them "Body Bags", since they're being produced in the Middle East.

jaust wrote:as far as i can see you've made some pretty nice bags there!

have you tried other bag types before? or have you tried a bag with more stitches?

regards
michael

I tried a few different types of bags before I got my facile. First ever was a 32 out of real suede, but I had no idea how to stitch, so every seam is sewn (all 6 sides of hexes). I also did a 26 which looks super cool but was made of leather and hence thick as heck, and one 12. This was around last November.

Far as 32 panels go, I have yet to attempt a 3 stitch bag. I've heard folks say that 2 stitches play better, and since they are quicker (lets me experiment more to progress faster) that's what I've done thusfar. Soon I'll try a 3 stitch, since I definitely think they look better.

Thanks for the compliment!

Floppy demo bag for Ben Cooke.

Currently working on four bags for paid orders right now. Will post pictures of them once they're completed.
