I forgot to mention in day 1 that Matt attended a double date with Krissy from yearbook and her boyfriend. We went to see Away We Go, which is an absolutely hilarious movie and I recommend it to everyone.

Day 2. Also, this is page 100 in my blog. Whoopity do.

The night before, Eric told us that he was planning on driving straight through the night and arriving at like 7 on Tuesday morning, which is just absolutely ridiculous. He ended up staying at a rest stop for a nap and arriving at my house some time in the afternoon.

Eric was hungry when he arrived so we quickly raided my kitchen and made some Mac & Cheese (shell and cheese to be precise). While I made the delectable pasta, Eric showed Matt and I DOTS. It is quite the DVD. A ton of good shred, and one funny/memorable non-shred section. You should buy it, if not because it's a good DVD but because Eric is a great guy. He drove 1400 extra miles to my house and back to go to US Open. I'm not sure anyone else would have done that. Two years in a row, even.

After Eric was settled in and we screwed around on the internet for a little bit, Sam came over and we all went to my Mom's house so I could pick up some moneys that I was owed. Matt and Eric both had Sonic for the first time, which I thought was pretty ridiculous. Eric was disappointed in their tater tots, which I also think is pretty ridiculous.

After that we just hung out on the couch until my mom's boyfriend showed up and entertained us all with Michael Jackson jokes, and we went home after many "Eric!!"s. He has very selective hearing. We went to the grocery store and stuff next. I think the only thing that is still surving from that trip is a box of cereal that is now in Eric's glove box. Which is absolutely massive. Big enough for two hobbits, perhaps.

After we got back to my house, we went to the basement (after putting Sam's stuff away from 30 minutes) and played some cards. I learned some new games (Palace being my favorite) and learned how to do the bridge, which I can do pretty easily now. I'm sure I annoyed plenty of people in the car while I was learning.

Sam went home after a while because her parents are paranoid that I still might be a serial killer after 7 months and then Eric went to sleep around 1. Matt and I went upstairs and continued a Palace/conversation marathon. Technically, I guess this part is day 3 but I'll consider it day 2 still.

I had a good time sitting in my bed talking about mostly nothing. It makes you appreciate things like that even more when your best friend lives halfway across the country. We started getting tired around 2:30 so we decided to go dunk our heads in the pool that my stepmom had just set up outside (which is just a disgusting mosquito cess pool now) because there was no way we were going to sleep.

We went inside and tried to play some more cards until I suggested that we take a walk around my neighborhood. We left through the back door rather sneakily and headed west into the unknown for young Matthew. The first thing we saw was a skunk that scared me pretty badly. I didn't want to take a tomato bath the day before I left on 17 hour road trip.

It soon disappeared into the night, though. We snuck by anyways and continued on 91st street. We crisscrossed the street, neither of us really being able to walk straight because of our crooked legs. There was also a game at one point where we jumped from line to line than ended in me hurting my foot sort of. Oh well.

About halfway along the street, we came upon a cat. I think the cat scared Matt more than the skunk scared me, which is rather curious. He told me not to touch it. I touched it anyways. That's what she said.

It was a rather obedient creature. We kept walking, it following us for the rest of the street until it reached its presumed home. Perhaps I'll see it again some time.

Matt and I continued on without our pet until we got to the golf course. I frolicked on the greens and over bridges in my bare feet while Matt clogged through mud in his heavy shoes.

It was getting close to 3:30 now, which was when we were supposed to wake Eric and Sam up. We decided to head straight home (well, as straight as it could be). We crossed through a few yards and eventually found ourselves at my familiar back porch light. I went downstairs and woke Eric up - which is the beginning of day 3 and a rather lengthy road trip.

Day 3 later.

Whoa 100 pages!.

It seemed like you wanted to laugh at the end but did your best to prevent yourself from doing so!

o.0 Oddly enough I don't want more nipple action.

I played today, but just filmed some trick videos for someone and worked spinning. Did a one shot to see if I could still do shuffley runs. I'll post it later.

Watching the trick video of me trying reaper is funny. You know how people have the ripstein arm? I have the reaper head. Hahahahaa...

Sorry I haven't updated in a while.

Life is more hectic than I would like it, but I guess I'll probably have to get used to it. I streamed a couple days ago, which was fun. I think most people liked it except for my girlfriend.

College is a little up in the air now. I was unaware that I had to apply to some things twice, and I had to apply for a private loan late because my dad is not the smartest person I know.

I'm not sure why I'm not more stressed about it.

I would go ballistic if I couldn't go to school.

Footbag has been alright. I'm working on stepping out of harder tricks. DSO and Eggbeater, also.

Yeah, I've hit mullet plenty of times. Just no other 6 out of it...

I stumbled upon this again, and I busted out laughing. It's from before USO, I think I posted it somewhere.

So, I am well orientated for school.

My first class was today - Art foundations.

The first project I have to do is rather interesting, definitely something I've never done before. I have to scan and copy parts of my body using copy machines and then make a life size body map, which has to be done within 24 hours. It's due tomorrow at 1 pm.

I'll be working most of the way through the night, I think.

I'm really excited.

I took some pictures around the campus earlier today before my class started.

Here you go.

I saw a painting yesterday that blew my mind. It was done by a senior. That's the first time that's happened to me.

Footbag is losing importance. I still like playing when I do, but I just have no time for it.

Where are you going to school?

As for footbag, I think it's fine if your interest comes and goes. I think it's a good thing that you are finding things in school which are interesting and take your time. Just dust the shoes off every now and then to remind yourself how much you like it, and play a ton during your breaks.

Thanks for the Aug blog vid.

I'm at the Kansas City Art Institute, Ken. Thanks a bunch for the (unintentional?) encouragement.

I think I'll play tonight. Once I finish conceptualizing how to present this shoe.

Maybe I'll film or something.
