I finally ordered my first batch, if you will, of ultrasuede light! I'm so freakin' excited right now! For about 3 months I've been using just regular suede and shammy cloth to make my bags. I can't wait to get my hands on it and start stitching.

Fingers crossed, mine should be here this morning (though im not 100% if its USL, its definitely a flavour of Ultrasuede), so i too share in your excitement!

I got lucky, I found a lady who had some on eBay. It wasnt listed at the time but she put some up especially for me. I should point out that I think its Alcantra (sp?) im getting.

unfortunately they wont ship in larger sheet sizes than whats listed, but you can grab yourself a good selection of colours for under a tenner. At a guess, Id say one sheet from here would make one bag, so two sheets would get you a set hexes and pents in two different colours.

yeh i saw the bear one.

tho the alcantra or whatever it is, they use the to re apolster car seats, surely you would be able to a decsent amount of that in britian.
