Quantum 3.1's

Post by jpaige »

I held off on buying the original quantum 3's because I heard the soles came apart, but when I purchased my quantum 3.1's the sole on one shoe completely fell apart within less than 3 months of playing, and I was playing less in those than my quantum 2's. I'm wondering if anyone else has also had this happen with the new batch. I reaaaally want to buy another pair of quantum's but not if they are going to fall apart in a couple months. I've been using my lavers (these last for ever!) but I like how light the quantum's are and I shred better in them. So for those of you who have purchased the new quantum's recently, how are they holding up?

They do fall apart, even with the new batch, so it's sometimes a gamble to see how they stack up in endurance after a couple months of shred in them.

My best suggestion is to e-mail Freedom Footbags, or Darryl Genz directly, about your defective pair. You might be able to get a replacement pair depending on how severe your shoe's condition is.

Mine were fixed very easily with a small tube of krazy glue. I'd say it's worth a shot for you.

my pair of 3.1's just broke...

i have bought them a few months ago and didn't play that much, but during worlds i realised a cut in the sole...

i saw the same thing happening with the earlier versions, in excat the same area the sole has broken.

i'm going to inform planetfootbag about this issue, i hope my 60 bucks weren't for the dump.

yes, unfortunately that is the reason why we have discontinued the quantum production.
