Kester: fuck off. Nobody here gives a shit about your feud or you're pathetically see-through attacks on Jeremy so find some other way to pester him if you must.Texta wrote:Abuse. Mods: does Kester's behaviour not constitute spam? Ban?
I've been a member here for more than 6 years and have been playing footbag for over a decade. I started playing footbag before Jeremy did. But because Jeremy and I are having a disagreement I'm not allowed to post? If that was really the rules then there'd be a lot less people on here.
And for the record. Our "feud" is 100% one way. I have no argument with Jeremy and I've made numerous real attempts to fix things. I gave up on a long time ago. Jeremy is the only one with a problem and if he is too much of a child to be able to interact with me then he should leave.
Besides I think the whole thing is moot because Jeremy is going to quit the forums like he does everything.

I think so. He doesn't play footbag at all, and basically never has, apart from a little bit of circle kicking. His only purpose here is making personal attacks against me, which I'm pretty sure is against the forum rules. While I have him on ignore, no doubt eventually I'll wonder what he's been saying and start responding and I'm sure the ongoing conflict from that will only be detrimental to the forum.james_dean wrote: Mods: does Kester's behaviour not constitute spam? lol. Apart from my posts regarding your ridiculous uninformed comments about the Geneva Conventions that were linked to me, the only time I've attacked you was when other people have brought your character up. Instead of having a go at me, perhaps you should try to have those people banned.
And given you've been literally avoiding me for two years, I have no idea how you'd have any ideas about my footbag habits. Well clearly you don't. Have a nice day.

Right, you play footbag and don't have an issue with Jeremy, but suddenly you appear here and it seems every single post of yours is an attack on Jeremy, whether on topic or not? Forgive me if I'm unconvinced.
Shoo fly.

Wait.... So this brotherly spat is over an argument on the history of the Geneva Convention? Are most Aussie's really this self-absorbed when it comes to their phony intellectualism? When me and my brother fight it's usually just because I told whatever girl he was working on that she was on my shit list to kill game. Or when I make fun of him for having a mullet when he was l10 years old. Or when I express my sincere desire that he kill as few a number of Iraqi babies as possible.

I'm really not going into details about my personal life, especially in this instance. The "spat" or whatever you want to call it as nothing to do with the Geneva convention. All that really happened is that I tried to have some time away from my brother for various reasons and have been unable to do that, because he constantly goes out of his way to attack me. If he had have just left me alone when I initially tried to have that space, it would probably all be over. I don't really know what he's thinking or what he's trying to achieve, but it's obviously very frustrating.
The argument is because 2 years ago I sent Jeremy an angry text message because he wouldn't wait 10 minutes for me because I didn't want to leave my partner and 1 year old daughter alone in the middle of Melbourne. I forgave him for that but he's been bitter ever since.BainbridgeShred wrote:Wait.... So this brotherly spat is over an argument on the history of the Geneva Convention? In reality I think he's upset because looking after my family is more important to me than hanging out with him.

That's funny. Since this is what I do for fun, I think it's fair to say that we are nowhere near the same level of debaters.Rieferman wrote:if texta is anywhere near the debate expert that Jeremy is, this could be really awesome.. {popping popcorn, settling back into the recliner}
From What makes a footbag event "bad"?

I completely agree 100 percent with everything stated. Bob, if we got rid of this section I'd have no place to honor youRieferman wrote:- Asshole players (this is from an event director's perspective). Not to be mean, but fellas, a lot of times players can come across as entitled little brats at events. Don't argue with me on this one, I'm speaking from a very strong position of understanding in this case. I stopped hosting events solely because of this factor, and it really ruins events for me when I see players treating another organizer that way. Be on time (EARLY) with your payment, be thankful that an event exists at all, help pickup each day, help setup each day, be courteous and polite to spectators, be somewhat mature.. It really does help the organizer, and it helps the vibe of the event.
