let's get rid of "kickin' it" section

Post by Rieferman »

I would like this forum more if it only included the footbag related sections. Basically, all the stuff down here in the "kickin' it" section, let's kill it. And topics that aren't footbag related, let's kill em. Let's all just be cool and talk about hacking and tricks and good stitchers and watching vids.

The rest, we can talk about on other forums, or in emails, or in person. Let's not muddy the waters.

You can only talk about footbag for so long before there is just nothing more to talk about. Getting rid of those sections would get rid of the only entertainment value modified has.

that's a valid opinion, but I disagree. In fact, all the other talk has ruined the rest of it for me. I'm here to talk about footbag (oh ok, my blog talks about more than footbag) not the rest of it.

Yes, I can just stay out of here, but my feeling is that these sections are just polluting the environment as a whole. Besides, there's plenty of places people can spend their time for entertainment besides here.

I'd be happy to see the two discussion forums go. This one & arts & leisure are more positive than negative, IMO. Never look at Homework Help, if its as dead as it seems to be, I don't think anyone would mind it going away. But I guess I don't really know. Also, the 4square forum is so dead its kinda pointless.

Will I submit this post, or will I go scream about the end of the world on a street corner? I wonder which is more likely to result in any kind of action...

I think the footbag sections are contained enough that this site can only be about shred if you choose to view it that way. If you don't want to look at non-footbag topics, it's easy to avoid.

The Kickin' It section and blogs are the only reason I come to this site. Don't get rid of it.

Just update the forum software so that you can hide sections you don't like.

Not so sure about kicking circle etc, but homework help should definately be deleted.

It's never used. Besides, a footbag forum would be the last forum I'd come to to get help with homework.

What happens when someone asks a ? that has been answered by "somebody" already.
Ive seen too many people complaining about duplicate topics. If you dont like duplicate topics just shut up and please dont recommend the lame search feature.
