Announcing Texas Statewides 2009. More details TBA.

Where: Austin, TX... exact location TBA
What: The following events will be held:

Freestyle:
-Circle competition
-Big 1
-Best 3

Net:
-Open Doubles
-Mixed Doubles
-Pro-AM (n00bs get paired up with a Hall-of-famer)

Other:
-Golf
-Iron Man
-Speed consecutives

FAQ:
Q: How many people will attend?
A: Usually about 20 total between Net and Freestyle

Q: Will there be prize money?
A: No. If you want a sport with money and babes, try skateboarding or something.

Q: Will so-and-so big name player be there?
A: I don't know ask them.

Q: Are you a net player now?
A: I'm not dignifying a response to that question

I might have to bust out of retirement for this. I haven't played in a really long time, but I got a few months to practice. This should give me some motivation to hack solo. Hope to see you guys there.

Since I couldn't make it to Funtastiks I'm most likely going to make it down for this.

Really looking forward to being around some freestylers again, and also playing some net since it been almost 3 years.

Getting excited. A little over a week to go. You have a pretty good idea where it's going to be at Ben?

On a side note: The Bravery is going to perform that Friday Night at Emo's. I'll be hitting that up as well. So another incentive to come to this event for anyone thinking about coming

Also any plans for Sat Night? Is anyone down for some drinks and chillin. I'm staying at the Ramada north (only $49 a night).

Well the usual in state peeps will be there. From out of state James Harley, Tuan Vu and maybe Aric McIntosh.

I'm down for some partying Saturday. Although usually everyone is so exhausted we all just go home. I've planned shindigs at my place the past 3 years, but everyone drops out the day of and it never happens. But I'm definitely down to go out if you guys want. My birthday is that Sunday, so we can celebrate Saturday night.
