Minimum temperature

Post by Commodore »

What's the minimum temperature you'd go out with to play footbag?

I don't know if it's worth playing outside in the autumn, I fucking hate playing in a tracksuit though :P

10-12 C without extra gear (only t-shirt and shorts).

I don't know what that is in farenheit.....

You can push that down a couple degrees with a toque and gloves, and a long-sleeve t shirt.

I'm pretty sure I've played in the high 30's F. Sweatshirt, gloves, and I was good. It had to be the right sweatshirt though. If the hood was too floppy then it was no good

Warming up in a sweatshirt is a good idea once it's in like the 20's or low 30's.

I've played shirtless when it was like 39 out before.

Winter sucks.

I remember thinking 47F was the coldest I would consistently play in. But with no wind the 30's are doable. Wear 2 or 3 shirts and maybe thin gloves.

No winter rules when you get to ski but until snow I have to find something else to do.

I know Lise has played outside in -2 celsius. Long shirt, gloves and hat.
That's hardcore.

First 50 degree day of spring - I'm all over it. First 50 degree day of fall - not so much.

I have played in -15 to -20 C in the spring time here in Iqaluit. Shorts and long sleeve t.

It is so nice when that happens because it means that winter is almost over and it is no longer -45C, which is a good thing.
