Folklore park festival

Post by mahhkohh »

hey there.

2 videos from me here. first is from folklore park festival in august this year. my movie maker wouldnt have me add some credits, so i guess we all have to live without. :)
second one is something like my "sessionhighlights" from my last 2 sessions. sorry for the grainy shitty quality of the hi-speed stuff. light was bad but i figured that when i was allready done filming. so sorry.

constructive criticism and hints are welcome, keep ranting for yourself, i know i suck! 8)

sessions best

have fun

After seeing both of the videos you posted, I don´t think you suck at all, so no ranting from me :) As for constructive criticism, if I were you, I´d try not to bail to pickup so frequently, however, that´s more of an advice. It´s just that from my point of view, pickup bails make your strings look less difficult, but from a non-footbagger´s point of view, you rock with or without pickup bails, so maybe I´m a bit picky about that. Nevermind...

So, that was it for the minuses. If I were to name all the pluses, I´d have to write down everything except pickup bails, so that pretty much describes, what I liked about the vids. :D Good job. What I have to point out though, are the juggling parts. 3 ball multiplexes, fake robot and all the other stuff were dope :P

Keep shredding and juggling :D

yeah, fisheye rocks ^^

about the pickup bails... its been so long since the first guy told me to get them out of the game, but somehow it seems impossible, but i´m at it. :)

folklore was really crazy, indeed it is every year! hope we will represent next year. i just can encourage all of you to come join us then :)

josh: my "highlights" video was just about the big tricks, i can make a video stringing them, but this was not purpose of this exact video ;)

matze: yeah we all love you, and also seeing you play the hacky thing. :)

Players in the video:blue shorts - julian zentner, black shorts black shirt - matthias thier, black/white shorts no/white shirt - me/marco hartig, tattooed shoulders guys - andi (he is somehow involved in organizing the whole event, so special thanks to him), long hair juggler - thomas ... someone else? dont know. say a word if you have been forgotten. :)

Ugh, I wish I could still be there! I had so much fun playing in Wiesbaden, with all of you as my teachers...Cool to see footage of Matthias and Julian, and yeah, Matthias definitely has chunks of Lon's style in his game. If I recall, his favourite player is Lon ;) Also cool to see that Andy still kicks, and has his own game completely.

Thanks Mr. Macro, I enjoyed the video.
