-mobius (hit it 2.75 times. the final time on camera)

sick stuff jorden... How often do you work your shred game these days?

also, have you ever hit triple fairy? there's some discussion going on about that in "Tripple ATW ...".

I hit a weird move I haven't seen often. I was practicing flip paradon rake and decided to tap the ground. The result was a double tap???

Basically a paradon set, tap the ground with the dexing leg, then finish with a same side mirage. So a tap with an extra out dex.

Is there a nick name for that set?

Thanks,

Double illusion set=Delusional. Jorden hits a bunch of stuff out of this set, including SS blender in one of his "huge moves" videos.

For it to be delusional wouldn't the second dex need to be a full illusion as well? Just curious.

It feels more like atomic same-side tap, since the last 2 dexes are the move "tap" anyways - lol.

Thanks Ken!

In your first description it sounds like two dexes occur uptime, followed by a plant, then a downtime mirage.

In your second description, you mention "atomic same-side tap," which would imply one uptime dex, followed by a plant, followed by a downtime tap (which is possible).

A "paradon set" implies a double dex set before a plant, while anything atomic implies a single dex set before a plant.

As for whether the set name "delusional" implies a far component, I'm really not interested in that discussion. I'm of the opinion that for any set, one set name followed by "near/far" is sufficient. It works for pixie, fairy, and nuclear, so I don't see why we need to double up on set names for stepping/blurry, atomic/tapping, etc.

It is 2 up 1 down. I was under the impression that there are several out dexes:

- atomic (toe set op out > far component)
- tapping (toe set op out > same component)
- fairy (toe set same side out > either side)
- nuclear (clipper set far out[pdx] > op component)
- far tapping (clipper set far out > same component)
- illusion (toe set op out > op toe)
- delusional (toe set double out > op component)
- etc....

Nuclear is indeed PDX so I don't lump it in with pixie and fairy as these are toe set same side first dex moves associated more with ATW than clipper set pdx.

Like for example nuclear whirl and tapping whirl are 2 completely different moves that end on opposite sides of the body.

The move I hit looks like the following:

- toe set op out > same out > plant and pause > same side in > op toe

So in your terms (ignoring far/near for naming purposes) I hit a delusional same side mirage, where as Jorden might hit delusional mirage (double atom smasher) and get an extra xdex in there.

I don't really care one way or the other, just didn't know if it had a name other than delusional same side, as that is a mouthful.

Thanks anyways,
