Thanks for coming to NY. It was a blast hanging out with you and kicking with you. You will have to help me remember what happened at the end of that night sometime.

I will have a .org link soon, the quality on youtube is awful.

Its the first video I have edited, so give me some critique on what I can do better.

Coming home from the session I rearended someone and fucked up my truck really bad. I think its gonna be considered totaled with all the body damage it has :x

Had a one hour session yesterday. Had a few highlights I caught on video. The camera died near the end of the session so I missed a few things.

What was missed was
blur-atom-blender rpt (almost, the last blender rolled off my foot)
blurry whirl-blurriest bsos

you had me at hello.
Your next task: Go to the bathroom.
Wash your face.
Put your shoulders hunched upwards.
Look really, really slowly upwards towards the mirror like in the movies
And slap yourself in the face.
With your game face on.
And go shred with jim.
It'll work, trust me.

dope pony.
I think those horizontal lines can be fixed by setting some deinterlace settings when you encode your video.

I need to hit our challenge on vid now  :footbag:

spinning whirl > whirlwind > montage.

In other news I have been absolutely miserable for about 3 weeks now.

Time for drastic change.

I havent been playing footbag hardly at all latley. Actually none if you want to get technical. I have been super busy with school, and its paying off. I have a 4.0 for the first time in my life and its not just because im taking easy classes. One of my classes are easy the rest are a lot more difficult. I'm taking two anthropology classes this semester (which is my major) so those are super interesting. But between school and work, I dont have any time for footbag.

When I do play I just find it more frusterating than fun. My strings are so short, and im so inconsistant.

I have done something to my left clipper set stepping too. I just cant do it anymore. I can do ripwalk pretty easily, but anything else is a struggle. This used to be the better of my two stepping sets. After schooling it for like 2 hours and seeing no progress it makes me not want to play.

Grrrr just thinking about it makes me frusterated.

I'm gonna play awful at new years jam unless I can start practicing a lot, and I dont know that that will even be enough.

Sorry to hear you are getting frustrated. Perhaps shorter sessions may be more beneficial. Just enough time to warm up, school one or two concepts, and go on one or two long runs with a bunch of BOPs to increase string length. Anyways, I hope you can get back in the groove.

The same thing happened with my left toe (although it never was my better side). I think I just put off schooling it and hoped that it would catch up with my strong side. Now I spend a lot of time back a square one practicing sets, ATWs (which apparently I suck at on flip). It's really draining but I just keep telling myself it will pay off.
