As for footbag, I actually have not played any in the past month, and had my comeback session yesterday. I'm going to gradually build up my playing time and get back in shape for NYJ. Yesterday I played on the quad, and the highlights were spinning ducking whirl first try and far swirl to spinning squash. The overall session was layed back. Me and a few circle kickers. [/i]

Two sessions today. I think I only missed one day last week. Footbag skills are "meh", but coming back. I've been swimming as well. After US open in the hotel pool, I realized that I needed to get back into athletic shape. I've been doing pullups or pushups everyday. I'm up to my career high in pullups of 13 from 7 about a month and a half ago. Pushups are around seventy from 40. When I reach twenty and a hundred respectively I will add weight. Water polo is also going on monday- thursday.
So my typical day now look like this:

7- wake up eat breakfast maybe read some news or a journal article.
9-5 work
5-6 footbag
6-7 dinner
7-8 more reading or surfing the internet
8-9 swim
9-10 polo
10 - sleep hang out with liz and eat some more

Sounds good, I'm not sure when the next time I'll be up in the city is though. We'll talk.

One of the best sessions I've had if not the best. Used my new Will T bag. Such a nice bag. Thanks again Will. Some highlights off the top of my head are pswhirl>blurry whirl and janis and whirrs like nothing. Just an over all great session with long runs and tough links.

Session yesterday after swimming. "The highlight" was janiwalker back to back bsos. This was the first time I did janiwalker>janiwalker, so I was pretty stoked to do it starting on both sides in the same run.

Janiwalker record : 2

First session in a little more than a week. I've been sick with a nasty cough (probably walking pneumonia). The week has been full of hacking and hocking up ping pong ball size phlegm of all different colors. I started taking antibiotics a few days ago (875mg Amoxicillin) and I finally felt decent enough to play. However, the cough still lingers, and I played with reservation.
I managed to execute spinning whirl to down double down on both sides. Though I seem to have a strong grasp of the double down family, down double downs always seem to cause me trouble and I was happy to hit that combo. I worked simple swirls and simple reverse swirls for a little bit, and at the end worked on butterfly swirl. I ended up rolling my ankle going for far butterfly swirl on my weak side, but nothing serious and I got up and played for about ten more minutes until my cough got the best of me.

I'm not entirely sure what I wish to accomplish in footbag right now. My philosophy has changed a bit. Now I'm in the shred every day mentality. Maybe work a concept or two amidst all the shredding. I would love to break ten fearless by wine and cheese. My record as it stands is six. I also want to increase my string length to 25 contacts on average. That's mainly the reason why I'm incorporating more shred into my session and less schooling and drilling.

Cheers,

Reid

I started playing again. Before this previous Saturday I had not played since my last post. Several things have been happening in my life that have contributed to this; being sick, interviewing, chasing peeping toms and work to name a few. If my health stays fair or better I hope to reach a good level once again. I'm starting slow. On Saturday I fell twice going for barfly. The second fall was enough of an ankle roll to cause some swelling and I've been resting it until today. Today I only did inside stalls, clippers, legovers and pickups and I plan on doing the same for the rest of my weeks sessions until I regain a feel for my lavers. I've gained 10 pounds since not playing or doing anything physical for the past month or so. Yes, I'm 210 lb now. I'm hoping to turn that extra weight into muscles in my legs. Anyway, I'm back and hopefully for a while.

Not enough time to feel down. I can't wait until wine and cheese. I have some limburger and german brick ripening in the fridge for it. 208 lb. Alpine clipper bsos.
