I live in a coastal town in the UK, and now that its basically dark when I finish work, along with the bitter winds we get, I doubt ill be doing much outdoors.

Makes me glad I laminated my kitchen floor though

So... from those that shred during the winter, where do you go? My city doesnt really have a gym per-say but we do have a YMCA. however i dont want to pay 5 dollars every time i go and i dont have 400 for a membership laying around.

So what do you guys do? (P.S. I do not have any room to play inside my house)

Finding areas to play in the wintertime is always a hassle. If your religious try and shred it up in a church.

screw it i know pants make a difference put put them on find a dry surface and shred it up. the pants will take a bit to get used to but it could help in the long run

I use to put gloves and hat on, and had a space heater. get that baby crankin' and bust some strings you'll be warm.

Try and find some slim wind pants or something like that to shred in if you can't do shorts

just find a spot indoors. If you got no spot go play in a mall or something until you get kicked out repeatedly and then find a new spot.

well where i am in ohio there is no close mall to go to so outside is the best bet unless u got a big enough basement or could move stuff around easily in your house to create a spot to play in

Go to a school. If you are a student just stay at school after class and play, if your not a student but once were, say you're visiting some teachers and play. If you never went to that school, be careful, but go play anyway.

If there is a college campus, at least during the day it should not be hard to get into a building with an empty class room somewhere.

Other spots:

Entrance ways to apartment buildings or work offices that don't have front desks or doorman.

Sheltered parking garages.

I like to get some long johns or thermal pants and put them under my shred shorts if I have to play outside. Usually I dress in a few layers and slowly take them off as I warm up playing footbag. The only problem I've noticed from playing outdoors in the winter is sometimes I'll be emitting too much heat and it will fog up my vision while I shred.

Luckily it doesn't get extremely cold in San Diego in the winter so the temperature isn't so bad.

However, the time change makes it dark outside earlier. By the time I get home from work it is pitch black outside. The spot where I play has street lights and traffic. I end up playing in some difficult shadows making the game much more challenging.

Being in the dark, passersby cannot see the bag and think I am some random homeless guy dancing around in the dark. I have gotten comments like, "I thought you were crazy until I got closer and saw that Hacky Sack." LOL

It's been pretty warm as of late (In the 60s probably), so I've been taking advantage of it. When winter started this year is was getting to about the 40s. Since I live in the valley, weather fluctuates. The past few years it hasn't snowed much here. When it has it melted that very day. I hope there's a blizzard this year.
