Hello All,
Well, last weeks RCS Chronicles tape was just me practicing routines for 07 Worlds, so no Chronicles last week. So I thought I would take the opportunity to make a video from some recent footage.
This features Sam Potter, Justin Dale and Ben Schmaltz, who came up from Vancouver for a visit.
I have been really wanting to get some Sam Potter footage out but he is very picky about being in videos. So I hope he doesn't mind, I gave him a modest section, but surely, more to come.
I did a few different things in this one, like adding transitions and I set it up into sections. I find going back and forth between players keeps things from getting too dull, but I have been wanting to try this format.
These videos were so much easier to make when I was bad at making them. Now they are taking much longer to complete.
I would like to add a few more comments like how much I hate my left knee and how much it holds me back.
I'm sure you are as tired of seeing me do strings as I am, so I mainly just put links I have been playing with on here. I quit doing torques and PS whirls a long time ago, back when I had back surgery and thought I would never play again. Well I have been working out a lot and I've gained some strength. So I am starting to add PS whirls and Mobius into my game. Due to the weakness of my left knee you will never see me do a PS whirl on my flip side, sorry. It would probably put me out a week if I tried one. Along with many other tricks I can do flip side but my knee will not allow. Boooo knee.
Lastly, does anyone have tips for what they have done to keep their posture straight up? I think it might be because I am so tall but I stick my butt out and bend over way to much. I am going to be focusing mainly on that for a while, and see if I can correct it...

three great styles! I liked sam's intensity and consistency, ben's big moves (pixie ducking symp rev whirling rake was sick), and justin's fearless stuff. Thanks justin! keep it coming!

Wow.... I don't think it was possible for a footbag video to make me feel violate....

Good shred though, I liked how you faded Sam's run as it looked like he was just doing one super long run :-p

awesome. I love the dance moves. Schmaltzy! so funny. I like the transitions. Pacing of the vid was good. I like the personality shown. Sam Potter has solid style.

Ben is an awesome dude. I remember him from my first SJFF doing crazy rev whirl shit. I think it's weird looking Justin when you do combos like mobius>ps whirl but in a good way. Sam.
