Finally got to kick again today. I did a proper warmup because I realized that whenever I do, I play better. Who would've ever guessed?

The first string of each session since the 50 tiltless session, have each been at least 25 contacts. It went like 50, low 30's, 25, 30? Something like that. My second string today was even 26 contacts.

Highlights:

- infinity > whirl x5 > rpt (have it on film but it's not loading to youtube for some unknown reason)
- DSO x2
- better DLOs and kinda better drifters
- gyro DLO bs :D (camera died before hitting it :( )

Finally, i've hit a "larger spinning move" on flipside. Yeah, I've hit both spinning ducking osis and butterfly on my flipside but for some reason I'm not really counting those. On strong spinning I've hit mobius, DSC, and spinning whirl more or less. Not getting those flipside angers me. I wouldn't be able to get DSC flipside yet but still. But, I also don't practice those moves enough to really try for them flipside. I only got gyro dlo today due to my dlo practice. Yeah.

Class at 8 am.

Night!

Wanted to play all day but had much trouble getting myself to do so. Eventually I decided to see how long I could do toe stalls for inspired by the Anz 25 minutes or something like that. I gave it two tries. On try number one I was able to do it for 6 minutes and 50 seconds. The second try was 7 minutes and 20 seconds.

I was kicking in my dorm room, which means I had a very little amount of space. The toe stalls weren't so bad. After that, I gave DATWs some practice. I got DATW (out) > hand catch > left toe > DATW (out) > hand catch > right toe > DATW (in) > hand catch > left toe > DATW (in) > hand catch. That was my first time hitting DATW (in) flipside in shoes. I was able to hit it twice more.

I did some tiltless just cause. In my confined space I was able to get 26 tiltless. I almost called it quits, but I decided to work on swirls. I got a good 5 on each side, not consecutive though.

I was glad I decided to kick. It's just been so lame not playing as much lately.

Kicked with NYFA today and had a great time. I was pretty happy with my performance for once. Early-ish in the session when it was still only me and bruce, I hit a 44 contact string which felt cool. Then throughout the whole session I got a handful of strings that I was proud of for once lol.

There were a lot of long strings with good combos. I think my favorite might've been a string with spinning butterfly bsos + diving clipper x2 > diving butterfly bsos. At least I'm pretty darn sure that was the same string. In retrospect, they might've been different strings. I don't remember. Another string I dropped the last ripwalk of ripwalk x4 bsos.

My favorite part of the night was undoubtedly hitting whirr. Felt so freakin cool. Thanks bruce for telling me to set higher

Also just saw the new harry potter movie on campus. I liked it as a whole but was disappointed with the lack of huge fight scene at the end. Oh well.

Good day

Props on whirr, man! I like your trick selection and the idea to hit longer and longer strings. In my opinion it is useful because it'll increase your stamina which is really hard to develop.
Keep playin'!

Thanks!

Kicked today at the reservation. The spot wasn't as flat and even as I remembered unfortunately, but it was good enough. Ended up working on atomic and quantum most of the time. I finally hit flip toe blur, and continued to hit it somewhat consistently, same with strong toe blur. I've been hitting quantum since march, and hitting it both sides somewhat consistently since june, but I've never had the consistent good set. Today I was getting good sets both sides. Toe blurs aplenty. No bsos though :( Not yet at least. Here's a video of today:

Tried to play on saturday, but ended up climbing a mountain that had no flat enough areas up top to play.

Finally officially got to kick for the first time since last wednesday. Haven't not kicked in that long since my surgery. Had a pretty decent day. Filmed. I got up to 17 guiltless today. I totally could've gotten the 20 in that string but I managed to drop on osis =(

Just kicked for a bit. I felt so out of shape due to my thanksgiving eating habits. It was rough. 60% of the session was on DLOs and the other 40% was drifters. Most of the stuff I hit wasn't new, just writing it for the sake of highlights

Highlights:

- toe set DLO bs
- toe ss DLO bs
- near DLO bs
- pdx DLO bs (new :) )
- toe drifter bs
- toe ss drifter bs
- near drifter bs
- no pdx drifters :(
 near DLO > ss butterfly > rpt > drifter > ss butterfly > rpt > osis > infinity > ducking shoulder mess-up

Last drill made me really happy so I ended on that note.

Haha thanks Adrienne.

Just kicked and had a super sweet session. Hit a few cool drills (but dropped right after lol), only one of which was new though. I'm starting to get the hang of the whole guiltless thing. I have a way to go but I feel like if I keep on pushing I can get there quickly. A couple months back, Ken told me to start the transition, and I could easily do it within 6 months. That day I made the goal of becoming guiltless in 3. Today marks the first day of that third month, so it's really time to kick it into gear. If I have more sessions like my past couple ones, I'm very confident that that's an achievable goal.

I also started filming for my christmas calendar video. I have two minutes for it so far. Since my day is the 10th, I'm hoping to get in 2 more sessions and actually make a good video lol.

AND, I hit my first 5 > 5 today! It's a typical one but I don't f*cking care lol. It'll be at the end of my video.

Yay footbag.

Kicked again today. I didn't think it was as successful a session as yesterday, but after watching the video, I had a lot more highlights than I thought. Plenty of things I need to work on, but I'm still progressing. Got up to 18 guiltless today I believe. I think I got over-excited at the prospect of 20 and dropped on an infinity XD Oh well.

Worked on osis before I turned on the camera. As per someone's challenge, I've been trying to hold the osis each time (x20). Yesterday I could only get 3, but today I got to 8. I was able to hit pixie osis > merkon bs. Still working on it though.

So far I have like a 6 minute video for the christmas calendar lol. Considering this is like the early stages of guiltless, it's not all that entertaining lol. Next session I'll just have to try some really cool combos or something to spice it up.

Later.

edit: I forgot to mention that after the camera died I hit flipside pdx drifter
edit 2: I hit a ripstein yesterday before kicking and again before kicking today. granted they were very badly executed, but it was just fun to try lol. Today I might've also super-fluked a TATW (in) in socks while messing around. There are two possibilites. 1: I actually hit it. 2: after the second dex, it hit the ground, and in the process of trying a third dex, I rolled the bag back onto my foot from the ground for the hand catch. We'll just go with scenario 1 for now since I have no way of knowing

Just kicked with Reid Strellner and Will T, both of who I had not met before. Both are really chill guys. Reid was hitting some really cool stuff. I'm so happy I had the video camera out lol. I hit a link that I thought was really cool. The link also involved me hitting toe ss symp whirl first try. Felt nifty. It was a good session. It was definitely cool to meet both of them.

Hey thanks a lot for getting that together. It was nice to meet you too. I'm sorry that there was not more time to chill together, but I had a great time none the less.

Finally got to kick again today with Will. I hate playing once a week. Today felt so good that I felt so guilty for not kicking since last sunday.
Highlights:
- Finally got past 20 guiltless (21 or 22)
- A few other pretty solid guiltless strings
- Footed swirl > whirl bsos
- Strung out of whirr twice. (also hit it a 3rd time)
- Broke flip spinning clipper record. wasn't actually counting when I did it, but I know I did.
- Actual downtime paradons bs. Downtime on flip was new. The delays on them weren't solid though.
- Drifter x5
- Vortex

I was really happy with my performance for the day so, I ended right hitting the vortex. Vortex isn't actually new. I hit it maybe a month and a half ago but my drifters decided to die off for a bit afterwards. Now that they're becoming stronger I decided to give it a whack. Getting it flipside shouldn't be too much of a task.

School is hectic right now. It'll all be over in a week.

Just had a pretty good session in the floor lounge. I ended up filming roughly the second half of the session.

First Half Highlights:

- PLO x11
- Ripwalk x9
- Ducking clipper x 19 (I'm sure I can do more, I was just too lazy to go beyond that)

Second Half Highlights:

Sorry most of my legs being cut off in the video. The screen was down far enough when filming, but the way it transitioned thru iMovie made it like that for some reason. Lame. Enjoy.

hey, that cutoff is because your project was set in widescreen. Go to project info and change it to Normal (I believe). That should return your feet :D
