So I've been playing 3-5 times a week recently, and certain things are really coming along. Barflys are hot, spins are happening, and whirls and drifters are getting lots of attention. But all this has happened in solo sessions! So, this begs the question, who wants to shred?

Camille? Danny? Hamilton people?

In any event, I'm hoping to put out a video soon, so keep watching for that.

Also, being single is WAY more fun than expected.

Camille....so do you want to do some filming for your project anytime soon? I'll call you.

Hey! We're playing and filming!!! I'm making a footbag video as part of my thesis. Join us!

Not sure where yet, but I'm thinking Trinity Bellwoods Park (Queen & Bathurst). It has a nice pretty spot with lots of green (and red and orange and yellow I presume now!) and the CN tower in the background.

Around noon?

I'm pretty sure Danny and Greenwood will be with me...? haha They better be! There's also my bf's show afterwards near Kensington, so ya'll are welcome to come back to my place to wash up and hang out after the sesh.

Jamazing session today. Full of goodness. Stopped trying to play in new lavers and just repaired my old ones. Holy shit the difference was astounding.

I get back around the 16th or something and head home around the 2nd. So, that gives us some time for shred and time to cause havoc. Cause thats what I do. Like last Friday. I stole a free hat.

EDIT: And as for your personal problems, Adam, a wise man once told me to just Spiderman her. As far as I know, it works every time.

Sound like you've got some smart friends there Alex....

Session today was pretty nice. It was a little cold and windy, so my eyes kept watering, but i hit a couple cool drills.

Pdx Whirl>Spinning clip>Rpt x2

Rubberman x2

Smear>Atomsmasher>Smear>Atomic legover>Rpt

Also tried to work my flip pdx drifters and blurry drifters, but my balance was feeling a bit off, so there wasn't to much progress on that front.

Also, I went to a pretty crazy Burning Man afterparty this weekend, and Camille and I did a little on stage performance!!!! We were accompanied by her boyfriend Lane on guitar. All in all I had a pretty good time, though there was some stupid nonsense at the end with Camilles friends band not being able to play.

Anyways, footbag is treating me well, and I hope to make it out to some more events in the near future.....Cheers.

Thanks Adam, that was a fun performance! I can't believe you played today, I'm still recovering from that night! Dang was it crazy! I hope you guys had an alright time afterward!

But yeah it was pretty nonsensical at the end there... Guess that's what happens when anarchists try to organize something

Still, I look forward to whatever other shows come up. We're looking into throwing our own mixed-performance party, not sure when, but soonish. Def do up some footbag there. Perhaps we should get Jorden on board.

And wooo- Alex!!! Can't wait for you to come back buddy, we'll party fo sho.

And howabout Sam?? You out there?? Comin home for Christmas??

I don't want to put words in his mouth, but I think Sam will be back sometime in the first week of December. X-mas shred is ALWAYS my favorite.

FUCK! I was so close to going to that party! I was partying in the same building the night before with Box of Kittens and I found out about it from someone there. It would have been so ridiculous running into you guys...God dammit I suck so bad.

I think the main reason I don't play enough footbag anymore is because I don't have a bag to get back into the groove with. I don't know how I keep losing them. It never makes any sense but it's always the reality. I'll have to get one for Christmas at least.

Hi this is Justin and I am pretty new to the footbag sport. I have been playing the whole "hacky sac" thing for a while and never really did much more then stalls and atw along with the odd clipper. Until when I went to Durham college this year and I actually met someone who knows how to play, like Cassy, I then decided that i want to get allot better and I have been playing pretty seriously ever since. I would really like to meet some other footbaggers in the area so let Cassy or I know when any of you are free to play and I will try my best to be able to get there.

I can't make it as we are having a show at our place that night and we will be preparing/rehearsing during the day. Sorry. I can give you directions to the Ryerson spot if you want though, hopefully it will be open during the holidays.

If possible I would like to know if we can get more then three people to play Saturday the 19th before this Sunday so I know if I should book off work. Also starting this Thursday I am pretty much good to play Monday to Friday until my school starts back up on Jan 6th. cell is 905 410 3818.
