marco, if that first one is flash red and mayan you've got a winning combination right there! the best bag i've ever made was flash red pents and mayan hexes and it's soooooo choice. both of those bags look phenomenal.

for this bag i reverted to an older pattern i had for 3 stitch. basically it's my 2 stitch template with more stitches. the larger pents and small hexes weren't giving me the feel i was looking for. this one rocks.

Image

here it is with a couple bags i got through trades, left is an amaretta hybrid from Gary D'Alessando (known here as 'fool'), the 3rd is from Matt Cross, and the last one is a pigskin (real leather) bag from Brad Benson.

Image

all are really, really nice bags, and each is totally unique in some way or another. and matt, your bag is in the mail, sorry for the delay. is the active green on the bag you sent me ultrasuede soft? it was my understanding that fields stopped producing it in light a while back. plays great, whatever it is. :)

2 new ones from me
Image

just kidding, it's a bizarro/flip flop pattern. saw one in person and had to make my own. super soft, it's punch and a mystery color from my sampler pack. 65 grams
Image

does anyone know if fields still does the 18 piece sampler? i couldn't find it on the website and i'm getting down to scraps.

EDIT: found it, here's the link for anyone else who needs it

zach,
your bags are looking nice.
how small are they? (compared to an abshire mini, golfball, etc.)
do you use amaretta or facile?

those look very nice zach! that mini looks pretty small, how much does it weigh? i dig that latest bag you posted, using animal print for hexes always looks really cool, kind of like the pents are floating in a sea of print. keep up the good work :)

there bit smaller then a golf ball, guess i need to get a golf ball for comparison photos. that bag weighs 47 grams. it is the best playing bag i made yet, i found a filler combo that seems to really really work for me. im gonna try stitching them a bit different now after sending out a few pms an getting some good replies they are only gonna get better.

thanks guys :) i really enjoy stitching, its kinda like therapy. gets ones mind away from troubles.

those are hot, donovon! i can't wait to get my shipment of ultrasuede, got a bunch more colors and i'd love to make an 8 color radiation bag like those!

and Storm, did you sand down the soles of those lavers? they look really thin by the toe.

happy new year's eve, everyone![/i]
